I thought Mac being Creative Director is old news?
And the Creative Director creatively directs. Expect less direct writing, more yes/no-ing, I believe.

What exactly does a creative directer do?
A creative director is like the chef of the project, Much like the director of a movie. He/She is responsible for the game as a whole and its vision and direction.

NOoooo!!111
but hey! at least he is not a lead writer!
THE HORROR!
They're saying all the right things about going back to the ME1 feeling of galactic exploration, which I like.
Also, props to Mike Gamble for being connected to the fans in the way that he is. Regardless of what one thinks of the unpleasantness after ME3, I thought he always treated people with respect and responded seriously to their passion.

I agree. But still, BioWare has screwed up in the aftermath of ME3 real bad. Regardless of who's right. BioWare can't until now, Figure out why we hated the ending.
Why.
Also, who the hell is the Lead Writer?
At 343 Industries, Schlerf became the Senior Writer and narrative director for Halo 4.

On the contrary, just because they're not publicly responding doesn't mean things weren't discussed internally. That's even if you can narrow down a cacophony of screaming people into one "we".
Mike Gamble said just a few months ago that their development process has changed as a result of what they learnt.
To those who dislike Mac Walters due to the ME3 ending (and maybe more *shrug*), this is both the best and worst news.
Best - He probably won't be wrapped up in writing any specific scenes you hate. Woo!
Worst - Haha in some ways he's even more in charge of the franchise than before. #dealwithitshepardface
Those developer bios are only a few of the leads on the next Mass Effect game. We will be profiling more guys and girls soon!
Chris Schlerf, Lead Writer
is he...is he Halo 4 lead writer...

In fact, They did respond. There was a conference that included him "Michael Gamble", Patrick Weekes and many others in which they explained that they think that the player needed more time to say goodbye to their companions, "Citadel DLC". And implied that the player only wanted a happy ending.
Also, Months ago, Mac Walters said that people who still don't like the ending are only whiners.
Meh i'm indifferent I think it's time we moved on from who's fault it was and focus on the next one. Cant change anything can we?
That's a bit of an oversimplification of his words Leo8Skylar, but I'm going to stop discussing this on the Twitter thread.

I imagine that for many people, perhaps even most people, this was true.
Arguing that "all the fans" had X, Y and Z problems with the ending is silly. BW tried to account for what they could, and I'm absolutely certain that they did hear the hundreds or thousands of people repetitively yelling at them about their one pet issue.
1 more hour!
Because the brilliant Casey Hudson has unfortunately left BioWare.
A new face, I like that.
Well stated.
Don't get too excited, don't get too excited, don't get too excited.
Happy N7 Day! 55 Minutes to go for us UK folk! Woooo!

I can't argue that the majority didn't want a happy ending, And it overshadowed the reasonable criticism of the ME3 ending. Unfortunately.
