Is it me or the logo looks like that warp drive ship we saw on N7 day?

I'm gonna make myself even more wishfully foolish by pointing out that the center figure of the logo looks a tiny bit like the black structure in space, from the concept art:

That is clearly a stylized ark of the covenant (arkcon) emitting radio waves to its creator. ME4 will obviously be an Indiana Jone/Mass Effect crossover. This was already alluded to in the Citadel DLC.

To me, Mass Effect: Pathfinder sounds like a valid title.

 

But the RPG-con theory sounds far more valid. Or realistic. Oh, BioWare, you are such a tease.

Wild idea: what if A.R.K.C.O.N. is the name of our ship? Pathfinder X, Captain of the ARKCON (pronounced like archon). Has a decent ring to it, I'd say.

No, but seriously. This has "boldly going" patched all over shirts. If it's meant to be a hint at where things are headed, consider me the captain of this next trek through the stars.

More thoughts, actually. Tad more.

 

In NME, you're part of an intergalactic initiative to start charting the vast remainder of space. You do so via freshly-constructed Relays thanks to ______ technology.  (It can easily be worked around any of the three major endings, IMO, with some more easy than others.) "ARKCON" is partly a reference to the fact that you're carrying with you, on your ship, members of several prominent races as you blaze a new trail for all to prosper through.

 

What you find on the other side is terrifyingly expansive.

Who can form/fund a "Pathfinder Initiative" that involves exploring different areas of the galaxy? My guess is A.R.K.C.O.N. is some large corporation. As for the acronym itself, what if it's a conglomerate of human corporations? Like this Ariake-Rosenkov-Kassa Collaboration for Observation and Negotiation - focused on discovering and observing other civilizations as well as establishing contact with them

The first thing I thought was "By the gods, don't do Stargate Universe (or how I like call it Stargate 90210: Flying in a Cardassian Ship backwards) or even Voyager... I really hope it wont be something like that. That's probably the worst I can think of. Well... except for "We have colonized all of our galaxy, time to move out and get a new one. Here you go, you fly ahead and build more Relays"... Which also kind of sounds like a Stargate Ripoff.

Ark-Con is a 2 day gaming convention that will be held in Springdale, AR on March 22nd and 23rd at the Holiday Inn convention center.

It is where gamers of all genres can come together to find other interested players and try new types of games.

This includes: Tabletop, RPG, Video, Board, and Card Games. Even Live Action Role Play! We’re not shutting down this year which means our game room will be open from the start on Saturday until we close on Sunday.

Join us for a weekend full of games, contests, and cosplay. See you there!

Hmm. Well, that might just be all there is to it. But I don't know, I mean, it's in Arkansas. It seems kind of -- I don't mean to belittle the convention or anything, but -- small fry in a way, for the BioWare Montreal team to suddenly flash shirts for it or something.

Liked this for all its space opera references, but I don't know, I feel like those themes can work if done properly. There were great seasons of Voyager, IMO. SGU was bad for a host of reasons but the premise itself was neat.

I think Bioware is messing with us, putting Those Names that look like Conventions, but in reality, they are a teaser(For what IDK )
