I'm pretty sure that it's be a secret (not sure how, exactly...) mass relay that leads to either a new galaxy or a new cordoned off part of the Milky Way.

It could be a relay made by the survivors of ME3 that leads somewhere the existing relays do not. It fits into every scenario. If the relays were all destroyed, they need new ones anyway. If they weren't destroyed, theres still a reason to build new ones that lead to new places.

Can't wait to play DAI myself. Game is getting great reviews from fans and critics alike. Just waiting for my new PC to come in, and then hopefully it tides me over until we get more Mass Effect info

That big black thing in space may be a special Relay that goes further than any other, but doesn't connect to another Relay. It could even be what the Reapers use to fire themselves back into Dark Space, it does look very Reaper-made.

 

edit: nevermind, forgot they used the Citadel to get in/out of the Galaxy

Citadel is one end of the corridor. Another one is in dark space. This might be it, especially if it also leads to another porting of the galaxy, to another Citadel or such

Seriously, the only 3 things that have been confirmed are:

1. Shepard won't be in it

2. Exploration will be a major feature

3. It'll play just like the trilogy games (No FPS/MMO fears!)

 

Not much to go on, but hopefully we'll get some info in Dec/Jan. 

If not, then we'll just have to wait for E3 and N7 day '15.

It's not Ark-Con though it's A.R.K.C.O.N.

I don't think it confirms anything. My guess is that's some large corporation, probably a collaboration between different human corporations like Aldrin-Rosenkov-Kassa Collaboration for Open Navigation forming a Pathfinder Initiative to activate dormant mass relays and establish contact with different alien species.

That's a little extreme IMO
