It's not Ark-Con though it's A.R.K.C.O.N.
I don't think it confirms anything. My guess is that's some large corporation, probably a collaboration between different human corporations like Aldrin-Rosenkov-Kassa Collaboration for Open Navigation forming a Pathfinder Initiative to activate dormant mass relays and establish contact with different alien species.
That's a little extreme IMO
Hm... i have to agree that your thoughts make more sense than mine ![]()
I want a Bog Unicorn in ME:N.

If that's true, I suppose a direct sequel to ME3 isn't totally off the table. When will Bioware release a teaser?

Yeah, I was joking...

That's what I thought too (except for the guess at what is stands for): The Pathfinder Initiative is run by A.R.K.C.O.N.
Also, the spelling might not be the same, it's pronounced the same as archon, which is an ancient word meaning something like "leader" or "master" in a political/governmental sense. It is also a term used in Gnosticism for the "sub-gods" who work to keep mortals from understanding the true nature of existence. Think of them as a bunch of giant sentient spaceships shaped like cuttlefish who work to keep galatic life unaware of the true nature of their existence until it's too late (or they find gnosis through ancient beacons, A.Is, etc.).
I notice that Barrett liked your post.
So he's either liking it cause it's true, or just to troll us now but not before. Which means that ARKCON pic wasn't trolling. Or maybe we got trolled twice.

I'm confused.
I know it's A.R.K.C.O.N., but I'll be surprised if the appearance of ARK in the acronym is just a coincidence.
Either ark theory is on to something or Bioware is trolling us
Or it's neither of those and Bioware came up with the acronym ages ago before the ark idea was a thing. ![]()
Even if that's the case, I don't doubt it is actually, I find it likely that they would be deliberate in composing their acronyms.Or it's neither of those and Bioware came up with the acronym ages ago before the ark idea was a thing.

After playing DA:I I'm more hyped for ME4
here's hoping we will have open world areas to explore just like in DA:I only instead of mounts a mako!
I also hope that they don't do a trilogy anymore but only one game one protagonist

I dont quite agree with you because one of the main things that i enjoyed in the ME trilogy was that my choices that i made in the previous games affected the next game so i hope they continue on doing it.

Well, since Barret himself is liking the Posts made, I guess we are close, so we are all aboard the MegaHypeSpeculation Train... Or not. Maybe he only likes for liking ![]()
But I prefer option 1,TBH...
We are close! Bioware knows!

I'm tired of the hype train hitting a solid wall every damn time though.
I'm hungry...i need more tweets to keep me satiated ![]()
Note: My english is bad, sorry about that :/
So, I was thinking... if the main protagonist is human (I think it was confirmed at comic-con) and the game is set on the "another Galaxy", the chances to see "humans" there, is imposible. becuase Humans are the end result of over 3 billion years of random genetic mutations on planet "earth", For humans to evolve on another world (exactly like us) would be statistically impossible. and DNA. DNA is simply too much of an evolutionary feat for me to believe that "human-like" life is out there (in another Galaxy).
edit: not only humans, also other races in mily way (asari, krogan , etc...)
edit 2: ok all i'm saying is that it's imposible to see them in another galaxy :/

Well, that's not the idea people are proposing.
The idea is that we move from THIS Galaxy to another. It's still a bad idea though.
Also, what do you mean "DNA is an evolutionary feat?" Every living thing has DNA - it's not an evolutionary feat.
I think he means that the DNA changes over the course of evolution and it'll be impossible to have the exact same evolutionary process in another galaxy.Well, that's not the idea people are proposing.

Point still stands - the idea is that we would be moving between galaxies, not that somehow species identical to the ones in our galaxy have come about in another.
Ok, so you are saying that in that time (2183 CE - when Mass Effect trilogy started) the people from different races already discovered and colonized another galaxy (well, the galaxy that the NME take place in it), and REAPER-invasion happened there too?
I sugest you ask these questions here: http://forum.bioware...-continues-itt/ ![]()
