Office move interrupted my productive spurt earlier. 

 

I don't wanna brag, but the hiring page image is just a photo of my new office spot. We're using omnitech to develop the game. It's next-next-gen!

Have they confirmed that the new title is "Mass Effect: Asari Scientist Explorer" yet or are we still waiting for confirmation on this?

The acronym for that is kinda hit or mease, though.

Yeah, that emoticon accurately portrays the facial expressions of the chocolate animals themselves.

I dunno, that emote seems like it's startled/confused, but these chocolates look more frightening than frightened.

This happened to me too! There were a lot of things I didn't realize when I first played that made the game more difficult for myself. I actually thought medi-gel and omni-gel were the same thing. I have no explanation for that one.

I guess I never thought about them using "text-to-speech" software in early testing. Always assumed it was just text. Must make the romance dialogue hilarious to listen to.

Supposedly one of the voices has a strong Texas accent, and another one sounds vaguely like the British Queen Mother.

 

I really want those blooper videos now :P

My fav memorable TTS is still from ME2 dev, escaping from Cerberus Station. Miranda's lines didn't have the radio cutting in/out effect yet, so the TTS flatly read out the placeholder line, "You're doing crackle Shepard crackle to the next room and I'll crackle crackle."

Sadly we didn't have any Texans or Queens back then.
