Never really visitied NeoGAF. Is it more civil than the BSN?
It is very elitist because you get instantly banned and permanently if you misbehave.

No, I think I get the point the Devs are making - the BioWare forums are not necessarily the most comforting and cosey of places.
I mean, I have that fear, but I hope its not so.
Honestly, I don't blame the devs for avoiding BSN. It's gotten very toxic since DA:I's release. Well, on the DA:I forums, at least.
DA:I forums in a nutshell:

Well, and plus, you can discuss any game on that website. Here, you can discuss other games... But it's usually to bring up a point about a BioWare game. So, therefore, the audience is quite a bit larger. Thus, that's why he posted there.
Just finished a trilogy run through again, this time romancing Tali for the first time. You'd think having played the game over 5 times I wouldn't be hit hard in the feels at the ending. Then again, I always have the low ems one where nearly everyone including Shep's LI dies. (Just found out Vega could die too).
Going to be interesting seeing how they connect this next game given the state the endings could be at. One thing I thought of this time around was the possibility the game might take place during the stargazers timeline, since the events of the trilogy happened so long ago according to him.

Ah, but is there a suggestion here that not posting = not reading? Because I can guarantee you that those 2 are different. I read far more than what I respond to, both because my input is not needed/wanted/required for most discussions, and in some cases it is better to not post when relevant or pertinent information cannot be shared. And, unfortunately, the more one gets involved in discussing things, the bigger the chance becomes any of us accidentally share things that aren't ready to be shared yet. It's a way of being smart about what we can talk about. Of course everyone wants to have more information and see cool things, but I doubt the good people here want anyone to get in trouble over something that just wasn't quite ready.

Jos, can you at least say if you are thinking of implementing Tressfx? After playing Tomb Raider, Mass Effect's hair makes me weep.
or any hair physics. Something like Elizabeth's hair in Bioshock Infinite would be a huge improvement.
Plus: cross-platform multiplayer
MEMP is PvE. There wouldn't be a disadvantage for console players and gamepad users on PC compared to m/k players.
PC/PS4 and PC/XB1 should be possible. Not sure about cross-platform between PS and XBox though.
I could be wrong, but I wouldn't really expect the hair quality to be much different from DAI.
And in other news, will we ever see more Mass Effect artwork? Still haven't had lithographs for every character, or at the very least squadmate, yet. Hopefully some are in the works.

That has more to do with the platforms themselves rather than the games. I mean, if PS4, XBONE, and PC players could all play against/with each other, what's the point of having different platforms in the first place?

It could be improved. I suspect high-quality hair was one of the things sacrificed to the gods of old-generation consoles for DAI. We'll find out when it comes out, anyway.
Although he never commented on it Jos must have read my 'space penguin' side quest idea and for that i am thankful. I will look forward to the quest making an appearance in the next game.
Trying to convince @jharacampbell that the awesome thing she is building [CENSORED] should be 70's themed!
With a lava lamp made of actual lava! https://what-if.xkcd.com/122/
Also note that the sort of conversations we discuss at work are also discussed by sixth graders. Just saying.
Smart kids those sixth graders! Can't wait to see this in [CENSORED]
Personally, I think the NME Mako needs more radar dishes and pop-up magnifying glasses... and die-cast metal. ![]()

Not even that.

I'm really not sure that I remember the space penguin quest. There is a lot of reading material on these forums. Could you remind me?

It had better be. That was abysmal.
For every question Jos isn't allowed to answer, Bioware will add another Holland-themed fetch quest to ME:N. Find 100 wooden shoes hidden in the galaxy to unlock the final mission, collect materials for a windmill on every planet, fill the requisition order for the local coffeeshop ...
It will be glorious. So Oranje.
Quest #231
Hop on your bike and cross a dike in rainy weather - strong headwinds as well - to go to work.
It shall be glorious(ly accurate).
EDIT: for some reason the word d-y-k-e isn't allowed.
Sorry we love them so much.
Cheers, the Netherlands.

Can't really blame last gen for that though, look at Destiny they have far better hair on both current and last gen than DAI.

they do that, though. those forums are no better than us. but the grass is always greener, and all that. I guess. Makes me feel like the Lil Woman they tuck away at home while they traipse off sowing their oats on other forums.
Do not take my love for granted, BW! Or I might have a dalliance of my own...

Not even that.

Jos:
Oops, my bad. I did not realize it was the "Ask Jos" segment of our program.
*but thanks, Jos. for being there. you are like the Atlas holding up the ME twitter thread.

On point, though, I'm glad to hear what Aaryn had to say about templates and all that
NeoGAF is a prestigious forum populated by an elite cadre of hardcore gamers, developers, industry insiders, and journalists.
The BSN is reviled by its owner and universally derided as a toxic wasteland.
