I wonder how long they were looking for an Online Producer for ME3.

Oh my god imagine that all the resources they've made up until now have no fixed animations, so all the internal demos during cutscenes have just been assorted T-men floating about... ![]()

I think that's actually good news. Better animations in cutscenes are much needed in Bioware games.

After having played DAI, I have really come to appreciate just how good ME cutscenes really are. For some reason the DAI animations don't seem to be near as good as they were in ME.

Including turning it off!
Yeah this is why I neglected to turn it on in my second playthrough of ME2 and playthroughs of ME3.

The Mass Effect team only had to account for two Shepard sizes. The DAI team had to work with 8 different Inquisitor sizes. I have to imagine that was a significant resource drain.

I don't recall anyone in DAI speaking with a broken neck, though.

Secretly, being handed a thing to make, and then get told to solve the problems in order for us to make the thing fun, is a super fun thing.
"This is a thing we want to make the player engage with. How do we make it fun? Go make it fun using the game's systems." Good times.
Make a cool gameplay space for combat that uses other game elements! Make a cool exploration space that uses other game elements! Etc.
I can't tell you the specific thing I'm tackling right now, but you can imagine anything, really.

I seem to recall telling you (advising) that you need to be patient.

We are all looking forward to ME: Next. Some of us to more degrees than others. Seeing as that release isn't for over a year should hopefully put things into perspective.
When it comes time to beat the "drum of hype" BioWare will do so in full force (as they should). Even then we will have to be patient.
I got burned hard with ME3 - a game I only played once. I have well over 40 full run-throughs of ME2 that were forcibly retired in order to save them from such a despicable game. Yet, even I find myself mildly interested in ME: Next. Its cool to see the Developer interaction, and I hope that it will be a really amazing game.
