Worth a watch!
Amazing! Thx for sharing ^^Worth a watch!
well, i did not think the video was going to get so much love.
Thing is if you liked what you saw, the guys from that channel make all sort of awesome videos regarding Lore, they even have videos regarding DA lore. totally recommendable.
From what I got from the article, the message was not that "so long as the beginning is good, quality of the ending does not matter". It was "If you are forced to choose between putting detail in either the beginning or the ending, what would you choose?". Ideally such situation should not occur but if it does it makes sense to work on the beginning more.
Yeah its always the ending that beats of the beginning for me if I had to choose. I can push through a bad beginning if I like enough aspects and/or I heard good things from other people anyway.
But I understand how things may work from the creative/business POV...

- While not ME specific, it's worth a read for everyone...
I just skimmed through that article.
[...]something something crosseyed Game devs smashing keyboards [...]

Should that mean anything?
What does it say? I keep getting message to "use a flash compatible browser."

If people dislike the beginning, they're not going to continue playing the game, so whatever work went into the rest of the game is wasted anyway. Word of mouth might help a bit, but even then "no, wait, it gets really good 10 hours in" is going to get laughed at more than heeded.

- no oversimplified RPG-elements
- no Reapers
- no returning charachters
- no MAKO (make exploration better)
Thanks. ![]()
Agree with first three. The last I disagree.
- no MAKO (make exploration better)
Mass Effect needs more... Space Choppers. ![]()

Nice!
But how soon is soon?
Soon enough to be called soon... Between now and HL3 ![]()

-Uh, I don't mind if some are. I just don't want an overall dumbed experience. I felt that for example with combat and skills, ME2 went too far, but ME3 was an enjoyable balance for me. (specifically for combat and skills here...)
-Haha... I have mixed feelings about 'Reapers'. I could go on for a while... I'll just say that I don't think Bioware should abandon machines being a big thing, nor should Bioware completely forget how ME1-ME3's galaxy was formed so much by the Reapers, and that they still have interesting aspects about them. Though yes, I don't want NME to be ABOUT the Reapers (just as say, DAI is not ABOUT Mage-Templar, is what I'm getting at..
)
-Also mixed feelings here. Either they leave characters behind entirely, or they go all out with it. And with the latter, I'm NOT saying fixate on fanservice, but instead have the new main story and surrounding details etc barely involve old characters, yet have the secondary story and missions include returning characters if we so desire. Essentially, this could still be the greatest separation between two Bioware games in a long while (including between Dragon Ages).
-Mako is happening so whatever. However, I just don't want to consider 1/2 my sidequest time being on a Mako and hating my time on it. Bioware, look at the complaints about ME1 and ME2 driving. Bioware, look at complaints about DAI MMORPG-quest-like lameness in open world. That is all.
I think we should all help Jos and all Bioware Team with the development...
#Space #Space #Space #Space
I did my best, hope it worked ![]()

Gamespot are going to be awful sad when they hear the news from almost a year ago, then.
They were actually aware of it (even showed the new Mako we saw last year), they just requested more things to explore within the explorable areas compared to what ME1 had
hence InterrogationBear's parenthesis.
I kinda agree, although I don't want every region to be full of content to interact with. Leave a bit of emptiness for that magnificent "Whoa, #Space is huge and I'm tiny and omg" feeling that ME1 offered.
