I felt a split second of excitement before I remembered they're just the standard cardboard banners (or whatever you call it?) they bring along to every con.

 

 

At least I think so. I remember a Tali one at a convention recently where they only talked Dragon Age, so probably doesn't mean anything.

And lastly, no matter what BW decides, if they make a good game; who here is not going to play it? 

 

*raises hand*  Just making a "good game" isn't enough for me.  I need to be invested in teh characters, setting and story.

 

It's for that very reason that I don't play Witcher games (well, not past the first one)  Sure, the games may be well crafted, displays choice and consequences well, etc.  But I don't like the Crapsack World it's set in.  So even if it's a "good game", even to the point of hitting some marks as far as games I enjoy, it's an IP I have no wish to play.

 

Same with ME now.  I have no wish to participate in a galaxy that was hit by RGB.  I know what it was built upon, and that would wreck the setting for me, just as it wrecked Commander Shepard for me.

And lastly, no matter what BW decides, if they make a good game; who here is not going to play it?  Sure, BW could do something the vast majority of the community doesn't like or agree with, but if it turns out to be really really good and fun?  Immersive?  Everything you love about the series in a new experience... who here is going to pass on that?  I definitely will not.

Also if any of you are going to PAX East and you see any dev wearing the Pathfinder shirt... Don't miss the opportunity like I did. Address it during the Q&A if they have one.

This and also ask them whether the big proper announcement is planned for E3 or not. If it is, obviously they're already preparing (be it CGI trailer or gameplay demo that take time to make). Not really seeing any reason why they wouldn't be able to answer this

Whether or not they're able to might not even factor into it.  I feel like the devs like to see us squirm, so they'd purposefully not give a straight answer.

Very few developers don't want to tell you all about the cool things they're doing. It's mostly always out of our hands.
