#MassEffectRemastered? Sure! I think that would be cool!
The fact that he is talking about a Remaster tells me it's not happening. He would not be allowed to talk about an unannounced product.

If he's no longer bound by contracts, then he'd only be bound by moral obligation to not disclose it. Plus, he's at a different studio, could be possible he didn't know much about it.

It would have been nice to be able to reassign the buttons even on the xbox. I hated that Charge was the Y button and not the right bumper. I had to take my thumb off the camera stick to charge, meaning I might accidentally charge the wrong target because of the fraction of a second delay as my thumb moved to hit the button.
Glad you mentioned it. I would love to have the ability to map powers to my buttons of choice.

I'd buy the hell out if it and all the dlc with it. Then I'd gorge myself with the ME3 MP.

Meh. I play on PC, so remastered would mean.... What to me? Besides the removal of the animated black pixel bug that's been keeping me from replaying ME1.

Just get the PC versions of the games and then get all the HD textures and SweetFX. "Remastered".

TBH if the "Remaster" was a proper remaster like in Frostbite or something I'd buy that for PC, tho I think this is unlikely.
If it's just going to the same with the Graphics Setting turned up for consoles, I wouldn't think it's not going to be release for PC of course, and if it was I wouldn't buy.
It would be nice if they could release some free HD textures packs for PC. The Mass effect 1 Mod is great but ME2 is a pain to install HD textures and ME3 is still a bit of a pain as well.
The face textures actually aren't too bad but from the neck down the textures are sooooo bad.

Hmm... that article credits Dombrow with writing the Mordin sections on Tuchanka, I was under the impression Patrick Weekes wrote that?

He doesn't directly state that Dombrow wrote Mordin there, it could mean that he had the idea with what happens with Mordin, while Weekes still wrote him.

The way I understand it (I remember reading about how Bioware writes on Gaider's tumblr), every plot has a writer that "owns" it and basically writes everything. After that, whatever writer "owns" a character that speaks in that plot will rewrite that character's part to get the voice right.
So if my understanding is correct and that article is also correct, then Dombrow wrote the whole plot, and then Weekes came in and rewrote Mordin to make him sound like Mordin.

From Dombrow's LinkedIn...
"*Priority Tuchanka: Curing the genophage on Tuchanka (conclusion of the genophage arc)
I wrote all characters within those missions (i.e. Wrex, Wreav, female krogan, turian primarch, portions of Illusive Man, etc.) with assistance from another writer on the character of Mordin."
