I thought those were Asari weapons. The shotgun looks a lot like the Disciple but after looking it up I see it is the Venom. Show's how much I know... 
ETA: I also learnt that carbine, as in the Reegar Cabine is pronounced kar-been and not kar-b-eye-n. I obviously don't play a lot of shooters or know anything about guns.
The first gameplay footage for SW Battlefront releases later today (or tonight in whatever crazy timezone everyone is in), it'll be one of our first looks at what a next-gen only sci-fi shooter on Frostbite looks like.
(I can think of another sci-fi shooter on Frostbite coming to next-gen, it starts with "Mass" and ends with "Dentist")

There's a rumour going around that ME Next details have leaked through a marketing survey.
Many details about DA: Inquisition were leaked the same way back in 2012, and they all turned out to be true.
The fact that there's no mention of title ideas though...

I won´t buy the new game if the rumours are true. I fell in love with Mass Effect thanks to the trilogy, the books and the comics. If they neglect all that..it will not feel like Mass Effect for me. Just a game with the same title and similiar features. I´m fine (excited) with a new protagonist and a new galaxy. That´s not a problem for me. This is the problem for me:
"Removed by time and space from Commander Shepard´s heroic acts the final events of the Mass Effect trilogy."
I´m not asking for much. A conversation from a background character or something like that. A honorable mention in the codex. Besides that, it sounds a lot like Dragon Age Inquisition in a Mass Effect universe (the features). And I didn´t like Dragon Age inquisition that much. Well, time will tell if this is true or not.

Whether something feels like ME or not has absolutely nothing to do with the basics of its setting (Andromeda, Milk Way etc.) aside from being set in #Space. It will all come down to the tone, the characters, the writing, the decisions etc. This is why developers hate leaks, it doesn't give them a chance to show you how they are keeping things the same while changing things up. Just remember that we all enjoyed the first Mass Effect because it was new and exciting. Give BioWare the benefit of the doubt here, they have obviously spent a lot of time developing whatever "new" setting we are going to play in.
EDIT: Also, because this is the Twitter thread, I think we should give the devs some slack and not push them for details/comments about this "leak." They will not be able to respond to any of this until EA is good and ready (see: E3.) Let's keep this thread positive and let the devs have some #space.

Well, they told us that it's going to be different. It won't be another linear cover-based shooter.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt that this is all made up. But if this is true? No, I don't think they have to a right to players giving them the benefit of the doubt at all at this point.
Inquisition had very much the same premise, very much the same situation (in spending a significant amount and time and money to supposedly move the franchise forward), and it was by far and away the worst writing I've seen from modern BioWare. Mass Effect doing the same thing would only be harder, given how they still have to dig themselves out of the ridiculous ending they wrote. Why would I assume that Mass Effect would be better?
Now, hopefully this all just me making a fuss over nothing because the whole thing's nonsense.
Let's hope not.
That all sounds like it could make for a fantastic game, but the potential galaxy switch bothers the crap out of me.
It's the path of least resistance. It's criminally uninspired.
