I decided to convert to PC and while there are many things about it that I love, it still can't completely replace my console. I play on PC when I can but with a lot of favourites being exclusives and a lot of great games not having controller support (I'm looking at you Bioware - DAO, DA2, ME1-3) it's not quite the gaming revolution I thought it would be. That said, I wouldn't give up mods for anything.

 

 

The main reason I play on PC is the controllers are too easy for me break.  Prolly the consoles too.  I mean, for me to get pissed at and toss them down over and over.  Like with fighting games.  Needless to say, that's the reason why I don't own many fighting games.  All of my competitive games and fighting games (in steam) are in a folder (uninstalled) called "ESPORT **** GAMSE" (I was drunk when I made the folder, thus the typo).

 

Nowadays, I buy a controller about once every three years and I break it about six months later because I think, "Hey, c'mon...   Those games can't be THAT bad."

 

O.O

 

I have to remind myself why I made the folder.  E-Sports takes everything that I want to get away from and brings it to video games.

A game without controller support that I wouldn't play because PC Mustard Race would be screaming "Dedicated PC UI!!! Different key bindings for EVERY SINGLE action!!! 75 million abilities that take advantage of every key on my keyboard!!! Click on ground to move!!!".

 

The only reason I'm able to ME on PC is because it lends itself to an XPadder setup. You don't have any of this point and click nonsense just look and shoot/activate power. Even though I own DAO and DA2 on PC, I can't play them on this platform and the graphics are so bad on PS3, I don't really want to play them on that either.

Depends on how much they spend making it and their pricing model.
