How about ME : Contingency as a title.

It has that nice hook that gives ya the effect of, "What happened in the past?" and the "What's going to happen in the future?"   Could draw even more people in.  Hell, it would make me wanna play the game even if I wasn't a huge giant mega BioFanboi.

EDIT :  Or ME : Cross Roads.   But ehh, I like the first one better.

I bet it'll be "Mass Effect: Exodus."

I like ME: Pathfinder, but I suspect ME: Exodus would be sexier around the marketing dept....

By the way...that's a real picture taken by a NASA astronaut. I think it's pretty fantastic.

User

It took you ten hours to write a follow-up tweet?!

On another forum, someone posted that tweet and one of the replies complained that Bioware still hadn't got the hang of lens flare.  It's literally got to the point that people are blaming Bioware for how light works.

Some people turn off their brains when writting on the internet (or who knows, maybe they never had one to begin with).

Anyway, i am still holding my breath until bioware actually shows something.

I'm more than willing to bet that it won't be Exodus.  Exodus implies that we're leaving somewhere under dire circumstances.  Which might account for the story, but also would account for the endings as well.

EDIT :   C'mon E3.   Get here now!

So that picture is the universe's homage to Mass Effect? Makes sense. Mass Effect showed the glory of space like few other sci-fi works out there, it's only natural space would show some love in return. Anyway, say what you will about the ending of ME3, but this is one of the most beautiful "sci-fi places" I've ever seen:

Say what you will about the actual conversation and plots involved in this scene, but that location was one of the best of the game. Art and video were awesome, soundtrack sent chills down your spine ... I think if the actual ending went down better with most fans this would be considered one of the defining locations of the trilogy.

As much as I hated that ending, that's a really well done atmosphere. Way better than anything I saw in Inquisition.

Shame it went to waste.

Does anyone remember the tube mission where you're trying to get across to the other side and you're turning around inside a tube looking out to space? Trippy as hell seeing the planet on one side, then the other, yet you've been walking in a straight line.

They're both A+ atmosphere scenes. Highly memorable and great representations of what video games can bring to the table as far as space opera is concerned.

In ME3?

Pretty sure Jos (or as I like to call him, José) designed that level!

I recall it being pretty freaking amazing.  The whole thing almost gives you that sense of vertigo - like how walking in mag boots must feel when everything is upside down in zero G.

Friday, a cool idea for #space came up. Pitched it. Immediate approval. Today @manveerheir built it first thing. Manveer is a rockstar.
