To be honest I really liked the level design of Feros/Noveria/Virmire/Liara's planet, and I missed that vehicle action in the levels of the later games.
Whereas I'm on the other end of the scale and didn't miss it at all... ![]()

After playing Need for Speed for quite some time I didn't understand the hate for Mako handling when I started ME1
Need for Speed Carbon: muscle car race in the night-time Canyon-Duel mode. Made me rage quit the damn game.

Mako this Mako that. That becomes annoying.
You wouldnt believe now that people actually hated it after ME1.
Do you guys think we'll get companion conversations while we're driving around?
Also maybe it's because I originally started at ME2, but Mako driving is the least exciting feature for me.
1) I would hope so, a lot of them.
2) No I started on ME1 and didn't like it, The Mako gameplay was just very basic and repetitive. Only the mission areas you drove it had any real thought and design put into how it would play, and even then not a lot. It was probably taken out for 2 and 3 because it wasn't very well received.
Something makes me think that's a krogan holding someone over a ledge, his stance seems very krogan-y.
The guy holding the other guy looks similar to that one guy we saw in one of the first "leaks".

I assume you're talking about this?
That wasn't a leak though. Some guy was doing this for a challenge. Oh and ME:Next uses Frostbite, not Unreal.
Driving the Mako in ME1 wasn't super hard, but it was annoying. I'll take planet-scanning over that any day.
Of course, I'm all for a new Mako that's more fun to drive.
I should hope, look where that thing is tied.
Makes me hurt just looking at it.

I hope that they don't repeat anything said in that movie. Ugh, god that was awful.
Why does this remind me of Saren...? ![]()

Yeah... that doesn't look comfortable. ![]()

"Yeah, yeah you did Matrix!"
"I lied."
Loved Commando when I was a kid.
I hate riding Mako on Eletania and Ontarom. That's about it
Oh, and I love attaching it to a generator in that Starship Troopers mission ![]()
Super interesting. I notice the differing number of articulation points between the two actors. The actor being held upside down has many more articulation points than the one doing the holding. Perhaps this means our hero is the one being held upside down? Seems probable.

Our hero or some other important character, like a squadmate, for example. Imagine seeing your squadmate thrown down from a cliff... All the feelz!
I was actually thinking the same thing.

To dangle a guy like that, its got to be a krogan or something with similar strength... or Saren.
Maybe the actor holding has less articulation points because the character doesn't have a human physiology.
I remembering thinking I'd never get through ME1 because I couldn't drive around Therum without plunging the Mako straight into the lava every 2 feet.
Why does this remind me of Saren...?
Except no punch to the face this time. I guess it would have be a punch to the privates. ![]()
