If I could experience Mass Effect 2-3 for the first time like anyone not having worked on it would, I would do it just so I can have that experience. Not to see wow I'm good, but to have that pure first experience. I do miss that a bit.
This sort of reminds me of David Gaider saying he has never played a Dragon Age game beginning to end, since by the time the game releases, he has dissected it in and out as part of the development process.
It's interesting stuff.
I wonder if devs who go to work at franchises they love miss not being able to experience the completed product for the first time on release day...
Having worked on ME3MP primarily, 95% of the single campaign was completely fresh/unknown to me when I played at home after release. We can get lucky sometimes!

You know, that makes me sad in a way. You should be able to experience the glory and pure fun of these games without knowing. My very first playthroughs are the most memorable.
Someone has to make the games though - and I guess that is the curse. Its like the actors in movies, they never got to see (for instance) Star Wars the way regular peeps did.

That is kinda what I meant - experiencing it for the very first time like us plebs the way it's meant to be. You're too humble though. If I had anything to with making Mass Effect, I'd be pretty smug about it...
I listen to M83's Oblivion from the soundtrack when I:
1)Exercise, like biking or running.
2)Think about the ME trilogy.
3)Especially when I consider my crazy, personal theories about what the next game will be about. 
4)Any combination of the above.
