Based on what some devs said, it still sounds like new Edmonton IP is MMO-ish online-ish Destiny-ish affair tho
That's what I was referring to, yeah.
I don't remember where I heard it.

Do you have a link to the source? I haven't read/heard anything about the new IP being MP.

Giant Bomb? Jeff Gerstmann mentioned that during one of their E3 shows. Very vague comment though.

That's what I get from Aaryn's GameTrailers interview, ongoing story/world, you and your friends blah blah. Sounds like a obvious online focused direction

That's out for me then. To hell with multiplayer. And the bunny hoppers who break my immersion, while I'm trying to talk to NPCs.
You might be thinking about Shadow Realms, which BioWare Austin cancelled.
From what I understand, the only concrete info we have about the new Edmonton IP is that David Gaider's writing for it. Full stop.
I read that Cameron's on the project too.
(just don't let him balance test the combat
)
I do hope we get to see more of the next Mass Effect game in E3 this year, especially the characters and main story.
After watching the teaser from E3 and the concept art from N7 Day from last year a few times, all I've noticed regarding the MC is him/her always wearing an armor. I'm not complaining about that, not at all. But in-game, will we get to see the MC without it? I mean, will we get to see his/her face and customize it as much as we want? Maybe this sounds like a silly question or something but I was curious, that's all xD

It would be nice to see the Main Character, the setting (where in time, what galaxy) and some tidbits of the story. Lets see some of the new worlds and the guns we get to shoot.
I still remember when the teaser for last year's E3 started during the live stream. I almost had man-tears ( no shame in admitting that ).
And that was barely a few concept images.
I can't wait 15 days. It's torture.

Yeah that sounds like an MP experience to me. He even used the word multiplayer.

Wondering how Bioware would do an online MP game if that's the route for the new IP.
SWTOR....felt okay since you weren't 'special by destiny' so it was okay to see multi-versions of my character running around.
Destiny....being some bit of light, and supposedly a big deal about it, was weird to see so many of us running around.
Thought SWTOR was fun if clunky. Had what I liked about Bioware games, characters.
Destiny had so much promise, but to me, the only thing they got right was the controls. While I played Destiny I just kept thinking, "I wish this had been made my Bioware, but with these controls/mechanics (man, headshots in destiny with that handcannon were so fun "Take that Boss-Man stand-in!". Ultimately though Destiny kept my attention for two weeks or so.
Cautiously optimistic about a fully online MP game from Bioware. Although, I don't know if I'd have the time to really sink into it. One reson why I like SP games/campaigns. I don't need to worry about going up against/with people who have way more time (or money) than me to sink into leveling characters.
Just saw the news that a new Fallout announcement is imminent.
Oh, how I'd like to read that but only with Mass Effect...

Be careful what you wish for. Mere hours after the announcement of Fallout 4 was announced, people are already saying the game is trash due to vague indications it may be cross-gen. Same thing is going to happen with Mass Effect: TNG (not about the cross-gen thing, but there'll be something someone doesn't like and get histrionic about).

They were the one who shamelessly begged for Fallout 4. How ironic.

Haha I said this would happen a couple weeks ago, still totally expect it. ![]()
Yeah, I'm ready to enjoy the shows (E3 and BSN's reactions
Not too long now.

Assuming there is anything at E3.
