No, that's exactly what I did: briefly explore a hypothetical.
I know about Flynn's post. I know that a cross gen ME4 is very unlikely. A hypothetical is something supposed - not something that is necessarily (claimed to be) real or true.
Maybe you mean theoretical. That's a different word with a different meaning.
Fact - what is agreed to be real
Theory - what is considered to be potentially real
Hypothesis - what is explored as a possible reality (aka a 'what if?')
Basically I was saying my response to a "what if" ME4 goes crossgen. I wasn't theorizing it. I wasn't predicting it. I was giving my personal opinion to the idea brought up of ME4 being cross-gen - not actually seriously considering it or believing it.
