Which is based on a fan theory that can easily be found on the internet, remember how clevernoob's "leak" which said that Bioware was working on a IT DLC it turned out to be false. So be very careful about leaks since they mostly have outdated idea's that are most likely scrapped by now.
Well, sure. I never said the leak was definitely real, only that it sounds plausible
especially since Inquisition had a similar survey leak.
Look, I'm only saying that I personally think the Andromeda setting is sounding increasingly more likely. "Not necessarily a sequel" says quite a bit. But I'm totally open to other possibilities. I'm not even a big fan of going to Andromeda, although if it's true I'll keep an open mind and give it a fair chance.
If you believe it's something else, then that's totally fine. No need to argue about it, we can both believe what we believe until E3 arrives and hopefully settles it ![]()
Nice find!
here's the twitter pic
TBH, this looks like our Protagonist unmasked. See the thing in his ear? It can be that helmet they always show in those Concept Arts, but retracted.
Retractable Helmets for ME: Next?
But this is an online store, right? Selling clothes and stuff, right? Why would they have any kind of new information on the next game?

I think people are just excited and wanting new information. I don't think the ThinkGeek thing is anything huge.
(Also, the Pachter report is an analyst basically making stuff up. It was posted on the BSN ages ago when he first made that statement.)

Where's the Cision Pro Mark 4 toothbrush? It did save the Normandy
If I was to pick one, it would either be the reaper or the Normandy

Oh hey:
(Apparently Chris Wynn replies to random tweets that contain "Mass Effect"? That's cool.)
userThey need to announce another mass effect asap
@user we already have, the next Mass Effect is currently under development.
user@The1Wynn prequel or sequel?
@user not a prequel, not necessarily a sequel either.
SO THIS CONFIRMS MY ALTERNATE UNIVERSE STAND ALONE RESTART/REBOOT MILKYWAY ERASED THEORY?
I KNEW IT I FREAKING KNEW IT. Well basically 3 was the end for that "story sphere" anyway... this is basically a Restart entirely. Which is not a bad thing... I think.

It's Not a reboot. Retcons (which we still don't know it'll happen) don't mean the game will be a reboot. Retcons happened in the past without having a reboot.
It's Not a spinoff either.'It's a ME game only in name' is an opinion (for example, I think it'd still be a ME game, regardless of my opinion ok this decision),unLess Bioware says otherwise.
It'd be a sidequel, which First the tweet.
IT'S A RESTART

Yeah. I get it, I'm as desperate for information as the next guy, but getting excited over nothing isn't helping ![]()

I have been repeating myself like a broken record for the past months about the Restart and Reboot theory along with the Milkyway being erased! and yes I did just woke up since I was following Fallout 4 and doing some other stuff aside from playing the guessing game with Bioware. I think it is clear now what they intent

I don't think so.SO THIS CONFIRMS MY ALTERNATE UNIVERSE STAND ALONE RESTART/REBOOT MILKYWAY ERASED THEORY?
I KNEW IT I FREAKING KNEW IT. Well basically 3 was the end for that "story sphere" anyway... this is basically a Restart entirely. Which is not a bad thing... I think.
But I honestly don't have a preference. I'd have concerns regardless of the direction (sequel, prequel, reboot, AU, sidequel, Andromeda) Bioware decided to follow.
So I'll just relax and enjoy the mayhem that the announcment (whenever it'll be) will cause.

ehehe it's a restart man. I'm sure on this there are who supports this, there are who are severely against this, there are who tries to hide they are against it but proposes another theory to save the story of the past... there are who just don't give a fuc* but I do agree... I'll sit back and watch the show from here

You're gonna be severely disappointed then when it turns out it's not. Moving to Andromeda is more likely than a reboot. ANYTHING is more likely than a reboot. That tweet does not hint at a reboot at all.
10 days, people. 10 days and we find out.

What is a restart then? They sound exactly the same. Either way, it's not happening.

The setting has nothing to do with it. If shepard and company are on Andromeda it's a - reboot. If we have a new character, story, same mechanics - restart. Quite simple frankly

Reboot - involves the same character/characters, the story is altered or revised to correct an error or basically expand it accurately. It is a re-telling of a story in a different perspective. See Tombraider 2013 as a good example.
Restart - Same mechanics, same gameplay, simillar settings, protagonists and antagonists replaced as well as crew, story-line of the previous title non existent. See Final Fantasy franchise as a good example. Same crystals, same good vs evil, same similar species, same gameplay, no connection whatsoever to past installments when it comes to it's own "sphere" or "character relationships"

It's still pretty much the same thing. They're not restarting the series now, they've been banging on about moving forwards not going backwards.
If it's a reboot/restart, I'll eat my hat. But it won't be, so I'm fine.

With 'Andromeda' I meant the leak, which has new character.
