Many of the people in that room will probably think the same of a potential Mass Effect trailer
it's just what happens when you're a fan of something that hits a particular interest or fascination in you
I guess that makes sense, and good for them ![]()

^ Is it really that big a deal if a developer isn't pushing the envelope for every single new entry in a series? There's more to a game than graphics, you know
If I had a penny for every time I heard that, I'd be rich already.
Having next-gen graphics and being a fun game aren't mutually exclusive.

And anyway, gameplay-wise, it'd take more than a Fallout 3 "slightly HD" with a new story and some extra things that user mods already added years ago to impress me.
Heck, even the VATS seems like a freakin' copypaste.
Though I have to admit I'm a bit confused as to why so many people seem beyond ecstatic from Fallout 4 ?
I'm a very jaded person but was impressed nonetheless.
It looks like a blast.

I don't, and worst of all, it lowers my expectations for TES VI.
I bet it'll be the same: A Skyrim with a bit nicer graphics, a new story and basically the same gameplay.
Considering Skyrim's success, I don't see Why Bethesda should change that much.I don't, and worst of all, it lowers my expectations for TES VI.

Though the possibility of a voiced PC would be a big change.
It would be more difficult to voice an elder scrolls game than a fallout game though. In Fallout you can be a man or a woman, that's it. In the elder scrolls you have many more races, with a male and female version of each. You could give all the female races a single voice and all the male races a single voice, I guess, but the fans wouldn't like it.

The same way products are always changing in this society: people grow tired of them.
Real innovation (for TES VI) would be that Skyrim and Blockscape had a son (for example).

I remember when the Minecraft Alpha was released after awhile I thought "it would be so cool for this game and Oblivion to be melded into one experience!"

Yup
Blends rock.
That's why I'm looking forward so much for Star Citizen....that seamless blend between space sim and FPS is something I've been dreaming about since the first Mass Effect ![]()
I really really hope their is no exclusivity deals with either platform that gets announced today...although I wouldn't be surprised if their is exclusive content, given recent history.

Exclusivity/marketing deals don't get announced that early. That's assuming the game comes out late next year.
Fallout 4 is everything I had hoped for new Bethedas RPGs. With main character voice-overs and homebase building, it's already a big win over the past games. Yay! ![]()
Well considering Bethesda has made this the best e3 in years already, I'm actually not worried what ME content gets dropped today.
I'm mean we've the Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight in a week, Fallout 4 in Nov 2015, Rise of the tomb raider in Early 2016 (hopefully for PC cos the Xbone timed exclusive), Doom also in spring 2016... Plus maybe Mass effect in 2016 sometime.
2015/2016 is already looking like some of the best years in gaming for YEARS...
I think it's pretty much going to confirm ME4 in some form, just how much info we get is up for debate.....
Hope for some juicy ME info but I'd be happy with "gameplay" trailer (read not CGI) and a vague 2016 - Early 2017 release date TBH.
But you're assuming people Are tired of it. I'm Not exactly the biggest fan of Bethesda's games, but Changing too much might cause more problem. They should find a balance between Changing too much and Changing nothing. The same way products are always changing in this society: people grow tired of them.

I don't think Bioware will return to CGI trailers for their Frosbite-based games.Well considering Bethesda has made this the best e3 in years already, I'm actually not worried what ME content gets dropped today.

For what I've seen so far, if they've changed 10% of what the previous games were, I'm already generous....

Whether ME shows up or not, I'm already counting this E3 as a win. I finally got official confirmation for Dishonored 2 (And Dishonored Definitive Edition with all DLC and a graphical update for PS4 and Xbox One!) and I'm very excited about Fallout 4's base building and customization options (I think the voiced protagonist will help me get into the game more). The glimpse of the prewar retro future looks pretty fun too.

No love for Deus Ex Mankind Divided and Dishonored 2?
I'm much more interested in these two games then the next Batman and Tomb raider or Doom personally.

Never played Dishonored.... it's in the backlog..
I forgot about Deus Ex Mankind Divided.... add that to the list... even more awesomeness.
I really enjoyed Tomb Raider (2013) so I'm looking forward to the next one, and the new Doom looks like what Doom 3 should have done... oh the memories playing Doom back in the mid 90's, total nostalgic trip for me..
I'm already with my N7 Cerberus T-Shirt just waiting for the good (THEY HAVE TO BE) news.
Why is the time moving so slowly...?
