Should I do a countdown?
Maybe not. It's not as certain there's going to be anything there, or, if there is, whether it's going to be anything major. Doing a countdown may raise expectations.

They'll probably just do another panel and vaguely hint about things again.
Eh it's only like 3 weeks away anywho.

Jahbu's reaction was great, "Look at that pistol, Baby! N -Mo%&%^%F%^$$ing- 7!!!!" ![]()
I'm a little bit suspicious of how few interviews there have been after the EA Press conference. Some devs ARE at E3, so I'm guessing there's an embargo on some new juicy details? ![]()

It was weird that of all the places that published an interview it was Ars Technica, I'm thinking you're right and they did do heaps of interviews but none of them are being published yet.
(That said, I don't think they'd reveal anything significantly new in any other interview, Aaryn and Mac avoided most of the ones about the story.)
DS3 got Shep's N7 styled armor but not the other way around. Battlefront is coming this year so maybe? If too early then I'm sure TOR will have another expansion during Holidays 2016 so it would be nice.
running around in MEA in stormtrooper armor would be AWESOME!!

I've never even heard of Ars until now lol.
Would at least expect a whole bunch of generic recap of what happened interviews full of previously known info. Which just makes me EVEN MORE suspicious sense those aren't even out yet.

You never heard of Ars until now? It's one of the oldest tech website around (founded in 1998).
As for interviews, I've seen very few interviews in general (not just ME:A), it's mostly write ups about the different conferences/presentations.

After DA:I, I anticipate them being much more controlled with what they reveal and when.

EA Investing In New Projects, Not Remasters Like Mass Effect http://bit.ly/1BhBnF6
Talk of a Mass Effect remastered trilogy had been rumored, but another E3 keynote has gone by without that announcement. While Söderlund didn't rule it out (he declined to comment), fans might want to start making peace with the idea it might not happen.
"I won't lie and say we haven't looked at it," Söderlund told us. "But for us, it's about weighing where we spend our resources. Is it better for them to be working on a completely new IP, which you know BioWare is, or should they be remastering a Mass Effect?"
I wonder when that new IP's projected to come out. If we are to assume the old Mass Effect team started worked on it after Mass Effect 3...well that's quite a bit of development time already.

Well with DAI they wanted to be very open about the development of the game, sense it was in the aftermath of DA2 and ME3. I'm surprised they're not doing the same with Andromeda. Though we're still a ways out from release.

That's a little disappointing. I hope the Xbox One backwards compatability thing involves all the DLc for the Mass Effect games when they do it.

The new IP went into production when Casey Hudson left Bioware.

The xbox.com page on backwards compatability implies our bought DLC will be included.

Yay, that's great news!
Hopefully this means I can actually play ME3 again since whenever I try on the 360 it freezes my console.

ME2 and ME3 were pretty high up on that vote list, and ME1 was confirmed during the conference. So it's likely we'll get the whole trilogy!

The only problem at the moment is that it looks like Microsoft is still working out how to deal with 2-disc games. I think this is the reason why Mass Effect 2 & 3 aren't available right now. If they're able to work it so there's no disc-swapping, that'd be amazing! (But unlikely)

They could always have it so the download is just the data of both discs put together. So like the download is 12 GBs rather than two 6 GBs like the discs were. Plus the DLC data of course. So the downloads would be very large, but it would get rid of the need for disc swapping.
But would they need to go into the game code and change it to allow for getting rid of the disk swap like that?
Not to derail the thread, but did BioWare pipe up and tell us anything about the new IP?

Not that I've heard
GamesBeat: Is there anything you know about Mass Effect that could get a tremendous number of readers interested in our story?Wilson: Yes. But we’re not gonna talk about it.GamesBeat: What kind of ships might be in there?Wilson: I’m gonna speak abstractly. What I would say is, I saw Mass Effect—the first time I saw it was probably a year ago. They have a particular creature in that game that is unlike—I actually tried to get it into the demo, because I thought this thing was so awesome. I saw the demo and said, “Hey, where is this?” Because I thought it was one of the most awesome things I’d ever seen. They said that they’re not going to put it out yet, so I can’t tell you about it either. But know that there’s a thing coming, a simple thing, and I thought it was unbelievable.
