They touched on this just a little while back... I don't know if there'll be changeable weather, but there will be weather.
Tech art team just blew me away with a demo of weather effects on objects and characters in game. Was ridiculously cool. #MEAndromeda

Side note: the footprints in Inquisition were scaled to the character's actual foot size. Bull's were huge, vs Sera's were tiny. Just to point out how in depth they go with subtle things.

Makes sense. But what I suspect from the trailer is that weather can change, so you're there, just chilling, and then a sand storm comes.
