So ME:A should have N7 soldier's with magic wands and wizard hats and flying dogs? Your argument goes both ways.

You are bothered by green magical merging but you are not bothered by space magic technology and stuff that work because 'reasons'.
But I digress, I accept things as they are or I go in "full detail", which doesn't apply for everyone of course.
Isn't there a YouTube video with an Asian college professor, that already explains these?
Long time has passed since I watched that video but IIRC many of his theories were speculations with could and would. I remember about biotics, he was saying we could achieve a form of TK but with the assistance of computers which isn't how biotics work in ME. TK (telekinesis) isn't possible in real life (or at least it is highly unlikely that we will develop this ability).
Guys I don't want to start a science debate I was just saying that we should accept some things as they are because if we tear part by part about how they can not be scientifically supported we will end up with nothing (which is the case with almost every game). But again, this is just my opinion and it is in your right to disagree.

Biotics have Amps. So it's natural abilities, like telekinesis, but stabilized with computers.

Yea I forgot about bio-amps but then again, the Asari don't need them*. Also in ME you influence the object indirectly via mass effect fields while the TK influence the said object directly without mediators.
*I think non-Asari biotics can still use their powers although they won't be as powerful as with amps.

Synthesis is space magic outright, and Bioware even (at least partially) admits it as such, in side reference to it and the MP achievements.
It bases itself somewhat on theory and a little on fact, but otherwise you just have to take general ideas and run with them. Literally. Run into the beam.
There's content that does imply it and lead up to it, but not nearly as much as the other paths. And much more vaguely (more in concept and tone - not actual technological understanding in lore).
I certainly would be interested in BW's take on Synthesis. Especially since it doesn't seem like they're scared of using big green beams of weirdness even in 2013-2014 post ME3. See: the Breach in DAI.
Um... ook? This is funny, because...? Biotics are natural in Asari from birth, hence "natural" abilities. Don't see the humor, less I missed something.
But I don't want to go to MEA Lala land. I want techy talky lore-y Mass Effect
Implying...?
The flying whale thing reminds me of this trailer... I seriously hope a 2h movie comes out of this.
That picture with the floating whale has me worried MEA will try to make every planet some kind of wonderland.
That's a strange conclusion to jump to.
Yes it is.

Now, wouldn't that be awesome? Finally, the writers are given free reign to their imaginations! ![]()
Oh, don't worry, MEA isn't another Alice in Wonderland. Most of the stuff will be "science grounded" in some way. At, least that flying whale still obeys the Bernuli principle, since it's flapping its wings in order to keep flying. And, look, gravity still works in that planet otherwise, everything would fly off...
Cheers

I don't think those are from Andromeda, given the M35 Mako, but still lovely work!

These pictures immediately reminded me of Prometheus. I like this vibe a lot more than space cowboys in the sky.
I really like the scale of those art pieces. The way the setting feels completely wrapped around you, and in your face. Overall, it reminds me alot of ME, whether it was done for other projects, or not.

I'm a little confused why an alien creature that can fly is concerning? I mean the harvesters flew in ME3, the thrasher maws were basically giant worms, and we have no idea how alien life could develop on planets we know nothing about. Maybe it's a helium based life-form or the planet's atmosphere allows it or something? It feels so strange to put a limit on what aliens can be. Even our own planet has some pretty weird looking flying animals/animals in general.
Also shifty cow should return. ![]()
More importantly, though, has there been any tweets lately? It kind of feels like the ME:A twitter thread is turning into the ME:A thread. It would be a bugger if it gets locked for being off topic or something.
Hey guys. Here's my unofficial contribution to the Mass Effect: Andromeda Soundtrack. Give it a listen and tell me what you think. Thanks!
