Out of curiosity, why the "<<<<<<<<<<()>>>>>>>>>>" before every post? A sort of callsign? I've never seen anyone do that before you.
I've asked like half a dozen times and he never answers.

For added contrast, I'd say.

Well, if you believe the trailer shows more, then I like to point out to you an interesting item.
The desert world and others.
Look closely. Notice the two concentric circles on two vertical rock formations. What can they be? Sensor data indicating resources or tech caches? As a matter of fact, these circles can be seen on every world the N7 guy is scanning at the beginning of the trailer.
Question
Are these planets pre-scouted, by the supposedly AI units, the leak mentioned? Is this how planets are selected for detail exploration?
Personally, I believe that the 'fire world' is the remnants of a ship that went down there. Note the big bubble over to the left and the two smaller less circular ones over the right. Could be that's why he didn't choose to go there. Also, if you note the fire tornadoes. Those aren't all that uncommon, all it takes is an extremely hot place (that's taking up all of the oxygen) and something that really needs to burn pulling oxygen down to it.

Assuming that Andromeda is headed towards a Q4 2016 release, I'd expect to hear something substantial about the game this fall. If we look at past Bioware titles, usually about a year out from release you start to get info on the plot and some of the characters, and the first true trailer. (you might get a teaser before then, like the one we got for Andromeda)
I honestly would not be surprised if Andromeda broke from that tradition. BioWare, like some other devs of late, seems to be bucking the trend of letting the hype machines roll from somewhat farther out than they may consider "necessary." I'm seeing that in a few of their practices. I think it's entirely possible we won't get anything truly substantial until June 2016 (next year), doubly so if there's a delay inbound.
Of course, you could also be correct, and I'd love that.
Just follow Bethesda's form of marketing and don't tell people anything until 6 months before release and then tell some information. This does create problem though, the lack of information will bring unforeseen problems for the player.

It took a good 5-6 months before Inquisition got Mandibles of Spiders Jaws of Hakkon, so maybe like Second 1/3 of 2017?
Not necessarily Twitter related, but did anyone this new N7 Limited Edition Loot Crate that Bioware is releasing?

I hope not. I like Chris' work.
At this point I'd be beyond shocked if he isn't gone.

Anyone have a clue as to why?
My own speculation is that his Halo game story writing background was incompatible with Bio's vision/game play for Mass Effect. My own itty-bitty problem is "isn't the writing supposed to be finished by now?". Will the ME"A story now be re-written? What happened to the search for Voice Actors? Is the Leak Poll Chris' view of ME:A?
"I'm late..I'm late said the rabbit."

He has been working on the game for two years. Little late to realize something like that. Maybe he finished the work he was hired for. We know so little about the writing process and the schedule. Really hard to guess what's going on.

True.
However, A lead writer that leaves on friendly terms after the project is finished will have the opportunity to tell us "how wonderful it was working with Bio". This appears not to be the case.

Writing for a game such as this is little bit like building a building. Or at least I assume, as these are all my assumptions, please take this with a grain of salt.
The lead writer writes the main story, or at least the outline for what he wants the story to be. And they (the rest of the company) build it. Then, for each level everybody contributes... Mostly each architect for each level (writer), but everybody contributes. From the programmer to the QA person to the art team. I'd say that they are about half done now. So, it could just very well be a thing where they don't need him and his writing style just isn't as laser focused as they want it to be.
It could be a perfectly amicable departure. *shrug*
His writing was not cartoony enough for Mac Walters. (Did I just say that?)
