The wait for N7 day...

I really hope we get something cool on N7 day, the new artwork is nice but now that the game has been officially revealed I'm hoping we get something more.

When they announced they said there would be more later this year, and N7 Day is pretty much the last thing of this year where they can give more information.

Don't forget Geoff Keighley's Video Game Awards in December, that's where ME3 got an announcement trailer if I remember correctly. ![]()
The real reality is not only is this product ultimately leisure, but leisure designed to be beatable by a very wide range of people. Including countless people of sub-average intelligence and skill.
and humility apparently ![]()
and humility apparently
Humility? There's no arrogance here. This isn't a controversial fact. You put out a mass produced product to the market BioWare does, a lot of your customers are going to be below average. That's just how distributions work. And it's a section of the market BioWare can't afford to ignore.
Arrogance would be the players who try and claim RPGs are for smart and mature people, but dumb people play shooters.

Things that pass as RPG nowadays there is really not much difference, you are right if you think of rpg-s now. Counter Strike with friends in general is more tactical than Inquisition on nightmare and in cs you only need to aim shoot and drop stuff, lol. I dont consider rpg anything less complex than Pillars of Eternity. In case of Andromeda id settle with a shooter+illusion of choice with strong narrative - not the exploration crp they pulled with Inquisition.

Ugh... last year's VGAs were such a face-palming event I'm struggling to see even an MEA trailer making it worth watching. ![]()

Keighley's reorganized setup was definitely superior to previous efforts. He put a great deal of work in to rebrand. There were still some off moments to be sure, but relative to 2010-2013? Night and day, i thought.
Weekly BioWare events countdown!

Every time I see this,Bio,a dark thought comes to mind.......
Will I live to see these days?

I'm going to hide in my bunker now..... Only coming out for FO4 and SW:TFA this year
Really? Last year's event for me was so much better than 2013, and had good trailers and stuff. And no comedians presenting the awards. Hopefully this year's is even better.

Did I watch something else? The one where McHale trolled Keighley all night (not undeservedly mind you...) in a what amounted to a glorified basement Youtube video?

That was 2013. Goeff's new show is called "The Game Awards". It was much more the dignified and he funded the show out of his own pocket.
Sure, there were a lot of ads, but the Roberta Williams part made up for that.

I'm glad I've helped you to think about the future.... sort of...
This N7 day should be super cool now that we have an official title.

If it is promised, I will watch it. Then again, I might just watch it anyway.
2013...? Damn, I'm a whole year behind...
A video from the 2013 Game Awards, for all of those cheese filled moments.
I couldn't finished...

I know, right? I was under the same impression? Or maybe McHale and his performance left such a strong impression, its echoes yet linger...

That awards show was embarrassingly bad, but Joel McHale was hilarious.

I dunno. I still think they're (the entire Video Game Awards shows in general) still in their growing phases. Even last year's had some moments that were cringe worthy. For me, I never played a Nintendo. I never played on a PS. I only played on an XBox (the original) for about 3 months. So, those moments of nostalgia to me were apparent. That's kind'a the thing that he needs to get rid of.

This is a bit irrelevant, But i thought you guys might want to know that, Drew K is back at BioWare!!!!!!! But unfortunately, He isn't working on ME:A. Man, It'd have been absoutely thrilling to have him back on the ME squad.
