Anyway, this is a time exclusive? http://www.vg247.com...etailed-priced/ That's incredibly lame, EA/Bioware people. Especially when you want more money for the DLC. :/

Gamble only mentions that it's coming out on X-Box not that it's a timed exclusive DLC. Remember Gamble also said that the Reapers could win in ME3. Stating that it's a timed exclusive DLC is rampant speculation at its best.

So they go out of their way to release on PC, PS3 (and the trilogy pack is coming soon with ME1), and soon the Wii U only to show favouritism to the XBOX? Seems legit.
I doubt it's even Bioware, EA calls the shots and is infinitely bigger and more powerful (along with, you know, owning them).
This game sold it's 3 Million on 360, not PC, not PS3, games like COD sell their 11 Million on 360, not PC, not PS3.
Why should I, as a rich businessman, give a damn about you and your stupid PS3 and PC? I can make so much more money off of Microsoft's 360.
Makes sense, and it makes sense that Microsoft would make this either forced or a very nice incentive (bribes), as it keeps their monopoly on gaming going.

I think people are getting that a bit mixed up with the Trilogy release dates.
Nov 7th is Trilogy, Gamble said Omega comes out on Nov 27th

Except that has never been their business model before and the Wii U release is kind of a big deal, they wouldn't shaft a new audience or risk hurting their already established fanbase. The article also contains typos and is basically a summary of the video that we've all seen (which is anything but official). Again, let's wait for the announcement before jumping to radical conclusions.
I'm just figuring it based off of EA and how business is. But you're right, article is pretty sketchy.
All I care about at this point anyway is Female Turians

Doesn't mean I can't be pissed at them for doing it - it's annoying for me as a customer, assuming it is true that it's a time exclusive.Doommarine23 wrote...
Welcome to business, this game is chump change small time on the PC and I can't blame them, smart guys, going for what's really the real money maker, Microsoft and its 360 console.

Not sure where you're seeing that it's a timed exclusive, but I didn't see anything in the video mentioning that it was coming to the Xbox 360 first then the other consoles later (unless you're refering to the 1200 MS points thing?) - I would assume that it would come to all consoles simultaneous like the other DLC have done in the past.PKchu wrote...

As an additional note, anyone else think that the interviewer seems like a fricken' idiot? <_< (can't even get the name of the game right....)

Also if you think about the ME2 alternative, going back to:
"Awh snap, some crazy rogue Cerberus AI is causing a ruckus, this might totally change my perception of a sythetic's role in the galaxy!"
Legion: "..."
"Awh man, our old buddy Liara is getting hunted by the Shadow Broker! We need to help her!"
Garrus: "..."
Tali: "(recycled line)"
Shadow broker: "You travel with interesting companions doctor. Ima gonna kill them or do some other crazy stuff to 'em."
Squadmate: "..." *reloads gun* "..."

D'oh! Never mind. Players can download Omega DLC for 1200 MS points or $15.00. He never says what platform it's coming out for, so it's safe to assume it be on all three roughly the same day, as usual. However, the trilogy is coming out Nov 4th for X-Box/PC and later on for PS3. So, there is no timed excluse DLC. The trilogy is just taking longer for PS3. So whoever wrote the article made a mistake.

While I would love to take my battle bro (see if he has any Archangel flashblacks), it makes sense that they wouldn't have any new dialogue as it would be cost too much money to bring back 8 actors so they can say "I don't know if Aria can be trusted.", and "DRAGOON!" We only got new dialogue for Leviathan because it was so close to EC, which actually had some important scenes with our squadmates.
Also if you think about the ME2 alternative, going back to:

Why couldn't they have recorded lines for Omega during the EC and Leviathan recording sessions? If they're going to ask for $15 for a piece of DLC, it better be a quality piece. And it doesn't really matter how much it costs EA/Bioware to bring back the actors. If they want our business, they should be doing their best and that includes bringing back the actors.

Yep, I'm very worried about this right now. (I've been worried since they revealed that Montreal is doing all or most of the work for this one.)AVPen wrote...
Which is why I'm slightly hesitant when they mention that you'll be able to play with both Aria and a female turian as squadmates, because the fear is they'll be your perminent squadies for the Omega DLC and you won't be able to use any of your original squad for the Omega missions (meaning no new dialogue for any of them).
If the squad doesn't return with new content, I won't be able to pick this one up.

Frankly, if I wouldn't be able to choose at least one of the squadmates myself, I won't buy the DLC. And the squadmate has to be fully voiced. At least like in the Leviathan.

But it was fun to meet up with Jessica Merizan, Holly Conrad, Priestly (again) Mac Walters and Mike Gamble ... & Kimberly Brooks! (I didn't tell her that I left Ashley in ME2 >.>)...even got their autographs in the art book which was nice
Panel with Dark Horse comics and the one with the ME3 composers (plus other game composers) was great!
Oh well back to tweets:

Indeed. Aria and a female Turian is all well and good, but if there's no new squad dialogue then there's no way i'm dishing out that kind of money for this DLC.

Howeverrr. I am not going to be too quick to read 'play with' as=those are the only squadmates you'll get. Its too ambiguous a comment. They might not be squadmates at all.
