Winter?
Well, that rules N7 Day out since that's in November which is in Autumn.
Well, it's Canada over there and I think they might feel winter comes earlier to them.

Did you get banned from the DAI ****** board by any chance? I'm not going to disagree about fetch quests in general but early witcher games had them a plenty as well. Has the Witcher finally fixed their horrawful combat that was in #1. I need to know this before buying Witcher 3
Nope not banned, but i plan to make a flame post for the game's anniversary
(since it's still a huge bug ridden console port disappointement). Anyway, yes the combat in witcher 3 is different, more dynamic and "fun" (at least i enjoyed it) think DAI but with real dynamic combat mechanics and actual hitboxes. No stupid fetch quests either, every quest has a backstory.

Oh, thank the gods for that explanation!

Glaso pls
Spending a lot of time in the latest Mass Effect Andromeda build. Looking better than what we showed in the E3 teaser.
After playing the Battlefront Beta on PC, I can believe that. The game looks fantastic and runs great even on midrange hardware.
I am confident that Bioware will not disappoint us since they are probably targeting 30fps on consoles.

Yes, a huge disappointment for PC gamers.
The keyboard controls are awkward and the PC has convoluted menu selections, among other things....

What's a "flame post"?
What's a "flame post"?
A long-winded rant where a disgruntled member of a community intentionally uses hyperbolic and often misrepresentative rhetoric to attack something, typically the topic of the forum itself and/or the "owner" of said community. Earns the attention of the negative quotient of the community, agitates the positive quotient of the community, and generally appears constructed for the self-satisfaction of the poster themselves.

Nope.
I always assume the worst after pre-ordering the DA:I PC game, then felt like being stabbed in the back with that famous "PC game for PC Gamers by PC Gamers" vs actual PC game play. And, I want Bio to know this. Ergo, my neutral to pessimistic attitude.
Btw, I did electronic circuit schematics, 2d to 3d schematics for the Machinist to allow the machinist shop to Mill, Drill, Tap a metal object and create a .. bolt, for example, from a 2D drawing.. also did Perspective Drawing schematics, Engineering schematics and finally, I am aware of building and piping schematics.... but a program routine in any language to be called a schematic is new... to me.... and yes, I did over 15 years as an IBM Systems Software specialist... so I know something about programming....Plus I came from DAI where for some reason they called armour/weapon upgrades == schematics.
Mind, the only negative I have with the ME games is that ludicrous rainbow colour endings.... and I do love their ME3MP (currently playing).
Still. imo, it never hurts to remind them that over hyping a game creates expectations that the product will never meet.

It's probably a visual scripting system, similar to UE4's Blueprints (and also similarly named, which I'm sure is no coincidence).

A neutral attitude is understandable and arguably the most reasonable one to have, but I wouldn't call your posts (in this thread, at least) 'neutral to pessimistic'. Maybe it's my memory, maybe I'm reading your tone of voice as harsher than it is, but I've only seen posts from you that seemed needlessly critical and/or judgmental of the developers.
I know you've got experience with these matters as you brought it up in regards to a different tweet you interpreted rather negatively, but it's a broad field and terminology, I assume, can differ somewhat depending on where you are. It doesn't hurt to have a little faith in people doing their job - even if you were disappointed so strongly with the latest Dragon Age game, these are (mostly) different people in a different studio.
Lastly, about your last sentence, it does hurt to remind them about 'over hyping' (although I see little hyping in most cases here; they're personal tweets from people's own personal accounts) when you create an atmosphere of people ready to tear apart anything they might say, even if it turns out that you're criticising them on a false premise. It makes this forum feel unfriendly and antagonistic, and probably affects some Bioware developers (who are, after all, just normal human beings) and potentially makes them think twice the next time they feel like sharing something they worked on or a thought process - those little things that can bring a smile to our faces, at least for most of us.
I'm not suggesting you turn into a blind fanboy, I'm just saying that your tone of voice and jumping to false conclusions has an effect on the forums for all of us
be skeptical and critical, of course, but within reason. Sometimes, if you have limited information, perhaps just give them the benefit of the doubt until we have more solid information - if it's then looking like your worst nightmare, then, by all means, offer them your opinions.
I hope you'll at least think about it
that's all I'm asking.
Respectfully, Aje... *spots off-topic hunters and flees*

Hm..
If you look back I have praised the lower developer echelons ... that is the artists and audio techs... hell, I even did this for the DA:I guys (you may need to go to the closed forum thread in DAI... PC Community Concerns).
The schematics issue triggered some "bad" experience in DA:I... I mean it felt like another "fetch quest" when upgrading your gear. And, watching the PS4 menu upgrade flow vs PC... I feel vindicated. After, all, it is another console game that will be ported to the PC.. and many Edmonton guys are helping the Mtl studio...which reminds me of HAIR in DA:I.
Am I looking forward to ME:A? Well, of course I am! But I told myself never again will I fall for the marketing BS. Example: Bio snr mgrs keep saying "in-engine" but is it the FB3 engine?.. most assume it is.... but I'm sure there is a floor somewhere full of high end graphics gear dedicated to graphics rendering for teaser trailers.... and this hardware existed before the FB3 engine.... sooo you see where I'm going?
Anyway, I will try to "soften" by critiques in the future.
BUT, BUT... look at what the VW car maker got themselves into.... all of their own making
Andromeda on PC is going to be a treat.
Hahahahahahaha! (maybe, i don't know, i hope they'll at least remember that a PC has a keyboard and a mouse and not just some usb ports to plug a controller into)

Well, they've promised us a "pc game by pc gamers, with PC specific UI and a tac cam just like in origins (i have video proof btw)" and what did we get in the end? A wonky console port with a controller mapped to the keyboard (with many keys we can't change), a retarded UI (the only pc element is the action bar, which has no tooltips or any other sort of useful indicators), unexplained 30fps lock for in engine custscenes and many other ingame animations, and a tac cam which has to take the stairs... add to that the boring bug ridden (still not fixed) combat and pointless side quests and you have the disappointement of the year.
It's probably a visual scripting system, similar to UE4's Blueprints (and also similarly named, which I'm sure is no coincidence).

I find that totally acceptable so long as it contributes dev interaction either informative or humorous. It's more on topic than many posts on this thread. Regardless if it's informative or humorous, it's great to see the devs interacting with the community.
Wait, did I wander into a different thread? Oh, no, it says it's the Twitter thread. Huh.

Um, did you miss Jos's post? It is pretty clear Altair_ShepardN7 was making fun of the Sartoz/Ajensis OT discussion.
