N7 Looks like this day has a different meaning for Bio.  Of course, it attracks ME fans like honey is to a bee... and then the fans get stung.

 

Anyway, I also called it. Again, I wish to thank DAI marketing and especially Like Laidlaw for giving me the "immunizatio shot". It acts like a valium...  I do appreciate Bio warning us about "N7 is no news day".

 

Off I go to play Hearts of Iron and some ME3Mp.

It wouldn't surprise me if they show something at PS Experience. It just so happens to be "at the end of the year" (Dec 5th-6th) and EA will be there so that's my logic. Or insert some award show here (whatever it's going to be called this year)

Considering how good the VGAs were last year (the first time I truly felt like it was made for public interest AS WELL as gamers and being respectful to gaming-culture)

Your bees and honey metaphor/simile hybrid is confusing. How do the fans get stung if we're the bees?

This is the only game I absolutely would not play the beta for. I wouldn't deny myself the completed experience even if playing the beta means my feedback might be incorporated into the finished game. I'd rather take the risk that they would do a great job without me... which is really not that hard so not really a risk at all

Maybe the honey is also bees?

 

EDIT: But that wouldn't work, because then they'd be drawn to themselves, and therefore stung (by each other???) By the time the other bees (us) got to N7 Day (which is also honey and also bees), it'd just be a bunch of dead bees, which wouldn't make for an entertaining livestream, IMHO.

Just realized that with Fallout 4 releasing on Nov 10 it would make sense not to release anything major since it will be quickly overshadowed in the news feeds by Fallout 4.

Hmmm - does anybody else remember that closed door survey/review that supposedly leaked about a year back? If I remember correctly, "What does N7 mean to you?" was one of the questions allegedly asked. I just thought it was interesting.

Well it is a Bethesda game, but Bethesda is one of those companies that are allowed to release buggy messes of a game since they seem to always qualify for a "free pass" in that department.

No, they are allowed to release a broken mess because the community fixes it for them with mods, as opposed to "we are proud that it is unmoddable" Frostbite 3 liquid crap.

It's like you're exercising your ability to blow things out of proportion. That isn't a skill you should be practicing.

But if they are "allowed" to release a broken mess then you are giving them a "free pass".  Plus releasing a broken game is far worse than releasing one that is hard to mod for as you should not have to require mods to complete or even play a vanilla game.

I personally don't give them any free pass to do so, Bethesda games bore me to death. And releasing a moddable broken mess is preferable to releasing an unmoddable broken down mess, do you agree with me? 

Bathesda's reputation gives them the free pass to release the game at this state. I may not like it, but thats how it is.

Can't fully agree with you as you are really broadening the terms of the discussion.  All of Bioware's games are playable beginning to end but you are comparing broken games based on modding and Bioware hasn't released a game that fits into these categories.... but I am sure someone will broaden the terms to make one fit... that wasn't a shot at you that is just some people in general around here.
