Don't worry, it's just a pic of the Normandy going to Omega.

Looks like it's getting blown up?

Crap...no wonder Mike Gamble was at NYCC...he was showing off Omega DLC to Press/VIP(?) ...

It was press, he mentioned it at the time on Twitter.

The press has simply been told it can't speak a word of what it saw until x date, as is often the case, that's all.

A press embargo eh.. they don't usually do that for small SP DLC packs, right? This month is going to be true torture, waiting for official info to come through.

Yeah, maybe not. But it seems they've maybe gone and done so this time...

You are talking like if Bioware were the best in security: All dlc's have been leaked before time (I wonder if they are doing something about it or not, because it looks that they don't even bother with this)
Info will be leaked in one way or another.

I'm just surprised that Omega wasn't the first DLC, the comics all but spelled it out and it was strongly hinted at in-game. Nobody is surprised by it in the least. Surely a teaser trailer wouldn't ruin much at this point.

LOTSB wasn't ME2's first either. Omega really followed it to a tee in even more ways than many of us estimated it would. XD

I think by design "Leviathan" was meant to be the DLC to tell us the awnser what the question Bioware knew we would want to know: "origin of the reapers/catalyst".
Plan wise, I see why leviathan was first. Extended cut kind of made no point to the catalyst part...was good for reaper history!

Though I really can't wait for this omega dlc. I have a feeling it's going to be good.

There weren't any references to Leviathan in ME3, and it seems to have been developed alongside the Extended Cut, so it's possible that was created purely to explain the Reaper storyline. We don't really have any information on internal DLC plans and I doubt we'll get any, but I'm a little surprised at the timeline.

Remember that the EC did delay things by at least a couple of months, as Allan Schumacher (I think!) said, it was something that had literally no preparation work done before launch. As the presence of Omega (and Citadel?) files in Leviathan sorta suggests, these things probably do have very long lead times for development.

You are talking like this leaks happen unintentionally. Im just sayin this leaks are a good way to test reception, to "change" or tweak things last minute.

But nothing ever changed. They never scrapped/cancelled any leaked DLC, or any feature from it.

Also, where did you get that epic Illusive Ferret avatar? xD

Well i remember a Postending DLC "leak", something, the crew stranded in the jungle, something, new race. People hated just the thought of it. http://tbreak.com/me...ost-ending-dlc/ Dont expect anything similiar to happen anytime soon.

Where i got the epic Illusive Ferret avatar, you ask? Good Question, the truth is... i made it myself.
That was a Lie.

Tha leak was very fake...
Basically it was: "My lawyer friend told me that I can violate all NDAs without risk and tell you all this super secret stuff".
No lawyer would advise to do that.

I dont know whether that or any other leak was real. But there are definitely to many leaks to my liking.
I just point out, this would be an interesting way to test customer reception towards certain planned features.
Even if its just to tailor the advertisment.

What happened to Onetrueshoot anyway?

That is NOT omega blowing up. So it is something else blowing up. Something behind Omega, hence the lense flare?

Yes, half of the leaks are bullsh*t: You have to pay attention on where they come, what they say and what evidences they have.
The solid ones gives you real details, such as descriptions and actual names.
The fakes ones have fan service/Nonsensical stuff to provoke fights among the community, sometimes they use real leaks to give credibility to their "predictions".

On the other hand, the biggest amount of fakes leaks were in the month that ME3 was released: Everybody was raging and desperate for a change of the game's ending, perfect moment for trolling.

Right now most of them are real and it's pretty easy to spot the false ones. Like that list with all those dlc, which was disproved by Omega's release date.

The only one that could be tested before launch is Omega:
That dlc has been teased for months... Literally

About OTS: I have no idea. I would not be surprised if he was kicked out of the community.

It's the Omega 4 relay blowing up ... which, subsequently, blows Omega up.

:innocent:

Light blooming + cruddy photo of computer monitor = speculations.

Maybe it's the Cerberus cruiser going 'Boom' instead... or just really crappy lens flare effects, take your pick. :P

Today was back to back interviews on #OmegaDLC with the UK and Nordics press. Some journalists were even showing up wearing N7 hoodies!

Means we get a proper press covering of Omega, unlike leviathan?
