Mass Effect I believe this time so happy I got a day off as well. Please let it be.

They said there would be 10 world premieres during the event and they've already revealed a couple. One is Far Cry Primal, another is Quantum Break, and another a DLC character reveal for Mortal Kombat. That still leaves around 7, and one of those could be Andromeda. Maybe they're just trying to keep it hidden so it'll be a big surprise.

 

Basically this.

 

Of course it may not happen, but this is one of the more likely days that we'll get something.

Oh I've got the same dilemma. Final assignments and exams are killing me! But the lure of Mass Effect is difficult to resist...

 

Another thing I noticed: Origin has Jade Empire available for free download as part of the "On the House" program. Figured I'd mention it to those of you who want to expand their collection of Bioware games, like I did

Still can't decide whether to watch the VGAs... The show promises 10 world premieres (some of which have been announced already but some are supposed to be a surprise) so it is *feasible* that MEA makes an appearance but the complete radio silence from BW makes me think the outlook is not so good

Personally, they have been silent since E3 and made little noise during N7 day. So it's quite possible they could be at VGA's, plus it wouldn't be a "surprise" if they told us before hand anyway.

Good lord.   Christmas is comin' early for papa!  Wooo-hooo!

 

Also, watching the video in slow mo just now.   I noticed a couple'a things.   One, if you notice on his omni tool, there's a red dot there.  Prolly where the enemies are.  Then you see him jet packing up, getting up, and surveying the lands.   However, if you play it in slow me, you can see that there are flashes of light coming from the mid-ground of the picture.  At first I thought they were lens flares, but nope.  Thirdly, I'm thinking those large structures have to be brought by the enemy trying to invade "our" planet.  EDIT :  Fourthly, on the fire planet, does that thing in the lower left foreground look like an alien head to anybody else?   And what about those things in the middle?   Those look like eggs to anyone else?

Been reading the NeoGaf thread on this and the usual "insiders" haven't given much away either way. Normally someone will be there who will say "You might want to watch if you're interested in......" or "Don't get your hopes up for......" but nothing about MEA which means there will either be nothing or BW/EA is keeping that sh-t locked up tight for once.

 

Either way, it doesn't really help. All I know is I'll be really annoyed if I spend hours watching live and nothing happens but I'll be equally annoyed if something amazing happens and I didn't see it live.

Just do what I'm doing.. watching the habs game.  By the time it's over, maybe something will be uploaded to youtube.

 

I doubt there'd be something revealed on the show, and only on the show.  If anything gets revealed, there'll be forums, this thread in particular, and a link to a youtube video with the trailer (should there be one).

They typically time it to go up same time it's presented. Not sure if they're on that exact of a schedule, or someone waits to press the button.

Hopefully the Game Awards will be available on YouTube later tonight. Though I'll stick around these forums to get the info scoops faster

Haha I don't know what Habs are. Is that American football? I'm in the UK but up late anyway. I'm trying to decide if it's worth staying up for. I'm actuallly playing ME3 right now and I can't concentrate because I think I might miss something MEA related. Maybe I should just watch the damn show.
