Or lack thereof
Seriously though, hearing about banter makes me happy. Makes me cry many bantears of joy.

Big Snip
----------
I feel like the Twitter thread already goes off topic enough as it is. Let's not twist a fun and casual Bioware Q and A with the devs into a Mass Effect Andromeda info overload request that would lead to them to being more skeptical about organizing such events in the future. And then some people complain that Bioware devs don't interact with their fans enough
...
<<<<<<<<<<()>>>>>>>>>>
LOL
Of course, Bio will not answer detail questions about ME:A. At least, not at this juncture. That was clear enough. However, ask 20 Qs and the probability of getting one answer is higher than asking one question. Besides, I'm sure the devs are happy to get such enthusiastic response from their eager fans. That is how I interpret the request and thus Bio would just laugh off such enthusiasm.
As far as the Q&A fun event(s).... these are always welcomed, especially if one is able to be there and meet the guys (hard worker bees actually) behind the game development curtain.

I know personally from having met actual devs making Mass Effect Andromeda that they are all fantastic individuals. I've met people ranging from a studio director like Yanick Roy to artists and writers that make the actual content we play. I've had great conversations with all of them, and understanding their backstory in the industry and how they go about developing games is a great way to understand their mindset when it comes to developing games. And that in itself can be some valuable info as to how they are going to proceed with making Mass Effect Andromeda and future Bioware games in general.
So, uhhhh... We should be questioning you about them to find out about the game? ![]()
Just pulling your leg man.
To the person that you quoted, you can ask them anything you want to on twitter. The only thing is if they will answer you and you may find yourself blocked if you get too annoying (like spamming them or something).

Just pulling your leg man.
So, you are assuming I haven't yet tried to extract info from the Bioware devs at two consecutive Montreal Comic-Cons?
You would be wrong
But their lips were sealed, despite my numerous questions. Best I got was a general feel and direction for the game.
Hopefully by the next Montreal Comic-Con in July 2016, they'll be more able to talk about the game after E3. Which means more info!

I know it always happens, but it's never not great to witness a mission going from lots of individual elements to a cohesive whole. #space
Yesterday this mission was a whole lot of elements sort of working together but not quite, and today it is a Mass Effect mission. #space

K, so I'm assuming from Jos' last tweets that missions are involved and not open world areas.
Call it me.

There is no such thing as horrible word jokes. All word jokes are inherently great. It is known.

At this point I've got banter coming out of my ears. #space
Since you are doing missions, how about a patrol mission in a contested area? Saw this from an article about The Division Alpha game.
"..Me and my buddy just patrolled for hours because the small firefights we got into were so much fun. Doing the one mission over and over again never got old and always looking forward to that reward in the end was the topping on the cake.
-The simple animations of how they walk and vault over objects is so smooth. It feels like I AM this person and that is hard to do in a 3rd person game. I feel like an actual soldier where just how they hold the gun to when they slouch down when combat is near..you just feel like a freakinmarine in a real firefight...."
Now, the above may be over hype, but the idea looks good. Oh, seems like walking animations have improved. Is Bio doing anything about it with ME:A?

You mean like repeatable scenarios that focus on combat?

Meh, that's an alpha though. Sometimes they focus on graphics first then worry about balancing game play, which it sounds as though they've done. I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds to me like he's walking on easy street simply because of overpowered guns due to developers not really caring if the guns are overpowered.

So - will we be having feminine animation for the female protag instead of dumping her onto masculine animation?

[Threatening monotone]: If not I intend to give the devs an angry earful. Delivered slowly and deliberately.

I could potentially see them coming back (for a small comedic role at least) after the popularity of the plushie! ![]()
