Interesting...
I see a different type and coloured armour.. battle armour?.. exploration suit?
The pod next to the figure + colour scheme reminds me of the movie ALIEN.
The symbols on the floor could mean "Warning Authorized Personnel Only".
The tank like structure on the right looks low tech.
What's on the other side of those gigantic doors?
Is this where we fight the Remnant soldiers/robots guarding their tech vaults?
Overall... congrats to the artist(s) for this concept art.

Why disheartened?
Well, I know that you guys iterate and iterate and iterate, I guess I'm just disheartened by the fact that you're not saying, "This is how we'll play the game at release." Then somebody else comes up with a new idea, or new banter, or something new, then you do some more work. "Okay, this is how we'll play the game." Of course, what I know about video game management timetables you can fit onto a pin head.
Which kind'a leads into my final statement of, we do have another year. I mean, what you, as a company, have produced so far is amazing. I don't care if it involves black magic, just keep on churning out the great games.

iteration is a method of obtaining the desired end product based on current product that they as a company are not satisfied with. if you want to trust their judgement then iterating should be a good thing.
and yes, a year to go.
"This is how we'll play the game" is only indicative of how much ever meaning, you want to give to it. Jos could be playing in a completely gray box and solely referring to actor behaviour/movement and perhaps even dialogue. no textures, no enemies, no lighting, no nothing.
i do not know. i am just speculating.
point is, how we will play the game, and how bioware intends for us to play the game arent exactly the same things. and as in the case of dragon age, bioware's intentions were clearly to allow the player as much freedom as possible. i can refer more to DA:I here, but this is ME:A we are talking about so i won't.

Oh, I'm quite aware about iteration. It's just the word properly kind'a disheartened me about the pace of the game. To me that means, "Hey, we're finally (about) there!" Of course, he could've meant, "Hey, I've finally got to see what other people are working on, and you guys are gonna love this!" as per his latest tweets. Which indicates that all of the developers out at BioWare are working hard at their own corners of their universe.
Either way, it'll be something to see.

Showed up to work with a block of time booked as a meeting in my calendar to just play the game. Alright #space, let's see what you got.
Oh gosh, I'm playing Mass Effect: Andromeda properly for the first time. This is exciting!
This is what I like to hear. Lots of awesome excitement caused by all the exciting awesomeness ![]()
I don't follow many games in development but I get the impression that these guys feel like they really have something special.
Looking forward to two weeks off, no showering or changing my clothes, getting REALLY fat on Chinese food and pizza and just playing.

The tweets make me both happy and sad. Happy because it sounds like development on the game is going well and the developers are having fun playing it. Sad because I can't play it. ![]()
I agree though, those tweets are my favorite kinds of tweets.

I feel ya... I need this game in my life already.
Here's hoping "Holidays 2016" means early/mid October and not late December. I'm so impatient ![]()

Weeeell... seeing as christmas decorations get put up these days even before Halloween, "holidays" can mean virtually any time during Q4 2016 ![]()
Not that I am a Scrooge or anything.

Agreed:
I hope this make it into the final game. I particularly like the helment. It combines many elements: first it just looks awesome, but it also looks practical both from a in universe point of view and from a gameplay point of view; That is, you can still potentially see the character face. I would love if you could change the appearance of the glass. Just dark and manecing or lighter and friendly. Or maybe change from one to other between combat and dialogue? It's small details like this that can make a difference in my eyes!
What's up with Bioware and orange lately?

Hopefully Andromeda will have something similar to ME3's armor customization. If so, maybe you can swap out that orange for another color you prefer.

There isn't really a way to tell what comes down the road which ends up making it a better experience. The framework is there. The structure we want to go with is more or less there.
What I've played through before my vacation is the "proper" way, as in I started a new game and performed the fundamental steps that any player would when the game is done.
Don't get me wrong, it is not ready for public consumption, but it's functional and gives us a good idea of what we're making in context of all the other stuff people are making for the project. It is nice to take a step back from doing my mission work and see how all the parts everyone else is working on are coming together, and how my own work fits in.
It's a really good process, and it has many benefits, such as allowing adjustments along the way and making things better.

Hopefully its not Cerberus orange
The N7 guy from the trailer gives me some hope that we won't be Cerberus.
Nothing would ruin the game's story quicker than Cerberus playing a major rule. Here is to hoping that that they're dead and gone after ME3.

You can see the same base armor in the E3 trailer. This one just has more addons.

I'm hoping for an opportunity to tint armour, similar to what they have in DAI.

I don't dislike it. Just weird. Several Inquistion soldiers wear orange too despite it not being one of the Inquisition's actual colors.
