Could be that they're saving it up for Christmas. We'll find out soon enough, I suppose.
That is a very generic statement, one can say the N7 video was the "transmission".

It is. Though I guess people were expecting more.

I just played the thing you've been slaving over. I'd high five you but, you know, you're on the other side of the country.Great job!

It is with a heavy heart today to say that I am moving on from BioWare and Mass Effect: Andromeda, and returning to the USA.
The Andromeda team is the most talented team that I have ever worked with, truly inspiring to have worked with you each and every day.
I will join the passionate N7 community and will eagerly await the release of Andromeda with equal enthusiasm. Thank you and Happy Holidays!
There isn't really a way to tell what comes down the road which ends up making it a better experience. The framework is there. The structure we want to go with is more or less there.
What I've played through before my vacation is the "proper" way, as in I started a new game and performed the fundamental steps that any player would when the game is done.
Don't get me wrong, it is not ready for public consumption, but it's functional and gives us a good idea of what we're making in context of all the other stuff people are making for the project. It is nice to take a step back from doing my mission work and see how all the parts everyone else is working on are coming together, and how my own work fits in.
It's a really good process, and it has many benefits, such as allowing adjustments along the way and making things better.

Same Wynn that produced "Gears of War 3"?
Does anyone know if he's staying with Bio?

I only worry about two things when it comes to Mass Effect Andromeda
Character Creation
The ability to show change in a characters appearance based on story events
I have never played a fallout Game until FO4, and I didn't care for the others mainly because of graphics. I know people would have issues about that because a lot of people believe gameplay is what makes a game, not it's graphics.
But understand that to me, style and graphics mean everything to me. The other Fallout games just didn't have any style or graphics that peaked my interests.
The only reason I liked FO4 and played the living crap out of it was because of its Character creation.
To me Character creation, especially a well developed one like EVE Online MMO and Black Desert MMO, is like the pinnacle of everything and all things good in games( in my opinion, excluding games like the Uncharted series and so on.)Through the gift of modding you could do so much more, and if the character creation is up to par you can do wonders.
Luckily Game developers are realizing the creation system in those two MMO's are the future when it comes to character creation. Why? because it allows you to adjust the smallest details on faces and bodies. Games that are now using this system includes the following:
FALLOUT 4 and the Latest SIMS Game.
In Fallout four you can make your character much more unique then you could ever in the mass effect Trilogy.( excluding mods)
DAI Definitely improved which made me so happy.
But what Makes Fallout4 more advanced than others besides the MMO's, is that if you have a pc you can perform character creation where ever and whenever you are in the game. So if in my case I was going on a secret mission against the Brotherhood( A faction you can join inn the game), I would change my hairstyle, add some trench warfare paint, radiation dust and war tattoos to make the event see more dramatic. After I was done, I would take that all off and maybe put a new scar on my face to show that I actually got hurt.
If I can adjust the way my character looks throughout the game( not just armor and the mako) but like scars, hair length, eyeliner, beards, and tattoos. If their Character creation is more advanced if not the same as DAI then I will consider ME:A more important than any game, even more important than Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts 3.
I'm sorry for this being long, If you have read ally the way up to this point thank you. I just believe this is an issue that hasn't really been discussed when it comes to this game.
What is your thoughts and what type of character creation would you like in MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA.
Here are two links to EvE Online and Black Desert Character Creation basically explaining why these are the highest level of creation up to this point.

If Andromeda could do anything like this, I could literally create me in the game!!

Now watching *two* writers play MEA while I try to catch up on my work. #spacealas
Having a Gears guy working on Mass Effect for me is an awesome thing. Especially a guy like him. A shame but I hope he just means he finished his part of the game.
I heard a few Epic guys moved from Gears to Mass Effect years back that brought a huge smile on my face. I knew the gameplay would be even better and fun. Beating down a Batarian would be sweet
Sometimes IDK if Mass Effect would feel the same to me if I played 1 first. 2 just felt so much like Gears gameplay wise and I loved it.
Bring back Christina Norman!
Chris was my birthday twin ![]()
Always sad to see them go, but hope he's moving on to something cool!
There is at least one more guy who has worked on Gears on the team (and has been since the ME2 days. Heck, we started at BioWare a week apart from one another)
So I know this is the Twitter thread, but felt it was the best place to share this little gem of a story.
The other day my wife went to Starbucks to get us a coffee, lo and behold in the rearview dash of the car in front of her is an N7 hat. She takes a pic and sends it to me. I tell her, "see... they're among us". Well as my wife pulls up to the window, the cashier says the person in front of her bought our coffee! We just got RAK'd and doubly awesome that they are Mass Effect fans haha
Thought I'd spread some cheer and show my appreciation for this cool community. Maybe that person might be on here, you never know!

LOVE IT! In my university parking garage i've seen a car decked out with an N7 sticker and steering wheel cover. Left them a note once telling them they are AWESOME.
This week and next is the lowest YouTube traffic period of the year, so I don't think they'd do that. January 3rd onward is when things go back to normal.
I'm hoping they'll do something at PAX South (no confirmation yet. Mike Laidlaw is going, but he's not on MEA I don't think). It's in January so it'd be a good big event less than a year away from the current release date.
