Back for voice of Omega or something new? Can be interesting

Well, I guess regardless if it's for Omega or Citadel DLC it's good news that the squadmate actors will be back again in at least one of the DLCs. Many people worried that voiced squad in Leviathan happened only because they already brought back the actors for EC. They can stop worrying now. Even if the squad it not present in Omega (and we get Aria and Turian female as squadmates instead), they will be back for Citadel DLC.

I imagine DevSin is quite happy

It has to be for something new. There’s no way that they’re still doing VO recording for Omega DLC. With only a month away they’re most likely in the final stages of testing/certification.

Happy-ish. ;-)

I wasn't terribly worried they'd never have them back again (people say it may have happened because of the extended cut—honestly, I think the extended cut simply took up a few of the lines for a recording session they were already scheduled to have, for Leviathan and possibly other future DLC). But it's always great to get confirmation. Now we just have to wait and see what's coming.

Like you say, we still don't know about Omega, and it will suck to not have any DLC until next year (I'm assuming the "Citadel" DLC can't come out a month later). Unless the squad comes back with new content, I'm probably not going to be touching ME3 again this year (last time I played was back with Leviathan, and I didn't even spend much time on it).

Fingers crossed, but I don't know what to expect at this point.

Or there re-recording some of the Omega lines because the scenes just don't come across the way they want them to, i mean, you can pretty much change the lines at will due to the facial animation & lip sync, so it's not forced to be something else.

As others have said though, it's a bit last minute for that and the expense of bringing the VA's back in is pretty large. I'd think if they ran into big problems down the road this close to release they'd just cut the lines of dialogue rather than shell out a ton more money to call some of the actors back.

Or, you know, they could just leave the lines in like they did with Kaiden's coincidental kidney stone and Ashley's sudden onset labor when STEEEVE! crashed...
