Plus the narrative helped. Wouldn't mind seeing something like that in Andromeda.

LOL!
Glad to hear that. Though, Forum entries in the DA:I Threads tell quite a different story. The poor Old Gen consoles suffered the most. There are tales and tales of these Loooong load times.
To be clear I'm talking about DA:I with the FB3 engine as the rest of the games use a different one.
I don't want to get into that zone, but it must your computers.
Xbox One - wise, as of today, there's no issues regarding loading screens. Keep in mind I use an eternal drive, and usually, it slightly helps.

Apart from getting killed in Witcher 3. I never really had a problem with the loading times in that game.

Yeah, the loading times weren't too bad unless you got killed a lot in the game. I guess it just provided further incentive to not die.

And then again, Bioware receives criticism for DA2 not being anything like DAO, DAI not being like DA2 or DAO, ME2 & ME3 not being like ME1, etc. Not a Win - Win situation at all....
As if DAO and ME1 were perfect? They're trying to find a good inbetween, but it can be hard with everything they try to include.
ME1/DAO combat was clunky as hell. Both games are notorious for clunky combat. In particular, ME2 received the best reviews out of the 3 games because it hit that sweet spot. It's fairly common to find ME2 being a favorite out of the 3.
**** the Mako. Enough said.
DAO was slow. Really slow. I never played the game for combat. Yeah you could set up traps/combos/etc. but it wasn't really impactful like a fireball to the face and the battle ending. DA2 had its imperfections, but it still did some things well. They just needed to tune back some things.
Quite frankly, there's something good and bad about each game. For me, it gets better with each edition. (Although, I did prefer biotics in ME2. Pull/throw, pull/slam was insanely fun).

Tbf though it wasn't hard to get yourself killed at any given moment in that game something I liked about it.

Hey now, you all. I didn't killed alot in TW3. I hardly ever got killed. Unless I went wandering off too far into the forest.... But I found their loading times felt over long. Whereas with DAI, the loading times just felt kind of long. YMMV.
Regardless, they're still not a deal breaker. To return this somewhere in the vicinity of ME, I did not even mind the loading elevators in ME1. I had no problems with those, I think mainly because there would be little news stories, and some occasional banter.
I expect there to be loading times and screens. Only thing about DAI was that, at least for me, the loading screens would just be black screen and silent. It would start with some lore bits for a few seconds, then drop it, go to black and stay there. I'd think it crashed except for the little, pulsing icon down in the right hand corner.

I tend to get bored and do that.
I think at one point i found like fifty half invisible midgets that didn't want me to tell my story to anyone.
Nice loot lying around though.

I liked that too, it made me be more careful with fights or just exploring in general instead of just button mashing or something like that. It was difficult at first, but once I got used to the controls it became easier and I had fewer deaths.

ME1 had a WASD system that was less than refined for me. However, it allowed me to rehab my own skills to the point where I could play Skyrim and other WASD based games.
DAO had a wondermous Point & Click system, but I do agree that the combat pace was rather slow (eg; default 2H). However, the Sunder swings were about right for me, and DAI now seems to have about this speed for battles.
Sorry; love the Mako, and am glad the Hammerhead died during the invasion on Earth. And ME2 is my least fave game in the series; possibly in all of my Bioware titles. Any sense of urgency was lost when one policed for thermal clips after a confrontation.
There is no perfect game, but Bioware has received grief on almost any decision that has been made. Thus, my reaction is much like Wrex's; "Suck it up, Princess"!
Ever notice how much Wrex sounds like a Bioware author?

In just about all of my ME2 play throughs, I've noted that my thermal clips tend to get reloaded whether I search for them or not.

Extremely funny in Galaxy Quest.
And he played Hans Gruber, one of the best villains in movie history, as his first movie role.

A lot of sad deaths over the past few days. As a big Harry Potter fan Alan Rickman was especially sad.

I wanted to hear him in MEA at one point I thought he was fantastic.
My fav character in Prince Of Thieves I'd even rewind his lines on VCR.
"Animals?"
From the North
" Oh, you mean Celts, they drink the blood of our dead."
Use them.
"Hiiired Thuugs, ah...."
"I'm going to cut your heart out with a spoon!"
Why a spoon cousin?
"Its dull you idiot it'll hurt more!"

Don't listen to Bioware!
We'll ask them questions we want/need answered regarding ME: Andromeda/Next DA, and they'll warp the answer to the point where they know they won't give anything away.
