Well It could move to any Tuesday in March technically. The last possible release date would be March 28th 2017.

 

The game could be delayed, yes, but they haven't announced anything of the sort yet. 

 

My point about the context of the original quote (the last six months of EA's financial year) was to pre-empt all the freaking out about MEA being delayed to 2017, because that's not actually what was said. There's still 3 months of that time at the end of 2016, and that's the release window we were initially given anyway. If I had to guess, he made such a vague comment because they don't actually know yet when the game is coming out. Perhaps it needs to be fitted in around other EA games (Battlefield 5) or other big releases around the same time. Look at what happened with Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 releasing on the same day, for example. 

 

They might announce that it'll be coming out in Feb/March 2017 or whatever, like ME2/ME3 did, but until that point I think it's a bit premature to read too deeply into the investor report thing.

I like the old Mako a lot better than the new one. The old one looks like a proper Infantry Fighting Vehicle, while the new one looks like some sort of RC car that doesn't even have a gun.

It's supposed to be an exploration vehicle. I would prefer to explore with an air craft designed for exploration with advanced instruments that can detect biologicals, dormant tech, towns, cities..etc..etc then land an exploration team for the "dig".

 

A lava planet as shown in the 1st teaser video is really unsuited for an all terrain vehicle.

it's 100 % SURE  if they don't annonce a release date at  event before e3 and marketing don't begin at this moment  the game will be delay so 4 month and we have the answer

The inconsistency is one says a definite 2016 release, the other says fiscal year that goes from 2016 to 2017.

 

The former says it won't be in 2017, the latter allows for a 2017 release date.  See the diff?

I changed my avatar on a suggestion from someone who said I should. I'm a big Panthers fan ever since they entered the NFL in 1995. They will be playing in Superbowl 50 against Denver on Feb 7

They have regained my trust in them partially, if not fully.  My only problem with Origin right now is their lack of games.  Origin has a 24 hour return policy window.  None of this, "Oh, sorry, you've played it for two hours and three minutes.  SORRY."  

 

It happened with Battlefront.  I bought the game, hell, I even pre-ordered it.  Then, I saw the fact that spawn camping was a thing in that game.  I returned it.  There was no question about it.  There was no, "We'll get back to you after reviewing your situation."  Nope, none of that.  In all fairness to Steam though, I do run no-script on my PC and I think that could have been the issue that I was having with the website as I has to reload it three times.  That was after hitting the button, too.

 

*shrug*  EA doesn't garner any hate from me.

Exactly! It might even just be the current situation, they didn't sound very adamant. If they're sticking with the holiday release date, I'm guessing we'll find out the official release date by early summer surely. They'd need a minimum of 6ish months to advertise, right?
