Well It could move to any Tuesday in March technically. The last possible release date would be March 28th 2017.
The game could be delayed, yes, but they haven't announced anything of the sort yet.
My point about the context of the original quote (the last six months of EA's financial year) was to pre-empt all the freaking out about MEA being delayed to 2017, because that's not actually what was said. There's still 3 months of that time at the end of 2016, and that's the release window we were initially given anyway. If I had to guess, he made such a vague comment because they don't actually know yet when the game is coming out. Perhaps it needs to be fitted in around other EA games (Battlefield 5) or other big releases around the same time. Look at what happened with Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 releasing on the same day, for example.
They might announce that it'll be coming out in Feb/March 2017 or whatever, like ME2/ME3 did, but until that point I think it's a bit premature to read too deeply into the investor report thing.
