What the **** was wrong with DA2?! Seriously, I enjoyed the hell out of that game!

I loved it too. But it was very poorly designed. No AAA game should have recylced levels, ninja waves and fed ex quests as ambiguous as Schrodinger's Cat.

So guess this means no Harbinger fight/scene?

"If Bioware is listening, then they will give me a fight with Harbinger."

"No additional combat in the EC DLC"

"Can you estimate roughly how many minutes the EC adds from Cerb base to the end?"

"In a single play through, I'd say it adds ~10+ minutes, but there's quite a few iterations that require separate games to see"

How is the EC not gonna confirm or deny the IT?

That seems like a rather vague ending then...

No further gameplay to fix the abomination that is "Priority Earth".
Wonderful.

I was expecting slightly more, but we'll see if the ''quality over quantity'' saying holds true in this case

Ten minutes does seem short, but 1990s Blade Runner Director's Cut revealed a hell of a lot in a half second shot.

1.9 gigs for only tens minutes? Something does not compute.

Computes perfectly. How many different combinations are there? Some with a VS. Some without. Some with Wrex. Some with Wreav. Etc. Etc. One for each romance interest hopefully...

Indeed. We shall see. I'm coming into this with zero expectations. This time it's "wait and see" for me. :P

I'm not expecting much myself. I'll be honest: I fully expect them to announce the Extended Cut will also come with a bunch of mulitplayer crap which is what is actually making up most of the 1.9 gig file size.

Judging by at least one of the leaked sccipts, "Destroy, Shepard lives"  was at some point meant to be one of seven endings.  I think a lot of people would breathe (har har) easier if it was announced that it that ending was being expanded on in EC

I see what you did there. ;)

And I'm absolutely positive it's on purpose they haven't gone into specifics. It would spoil the whole thing. Everything else can be rationalized from the current ending, such as Hackett giving the order to get the hell out of there while the thing fires. It's really the only thing that makes sense.

Considering that most of it takes place during and after the last phase of the Earth quest, 10 minutes is actually quite a lot compared to the overall time it takes to get through that section as it is now. The EC is gonna take up 25% or something like that of the entire time.

God damn it. They talk about closure and clarity yet they're NOT going to confirm or deny the one theory that so many fans have been clamoring about? Come on really?

They're not going to deny that Javik is secretly a female in disguise either, but that doesn't mean the answer to that isn't incredibly obvious.

To be fair, many parts of ME3 could point towards it, such as Shepard's new found obsession on this one child, which the Catalyst knows to manifest into.

Hell, the original endings were even going to have indoc (but I can't find it, some cut stuff Final Hour went on about, if I find it, I'll send it your way).

So who can say, really.

I don't want to dwell on this subject because it is off-topic, but I think that the indoctrination sequence that was mentioned in the Final Hour app was likely part of the sequence in which The Illusive Man was exerting control over Anderson and Shepard. As I recall, in the leaked script from November 2011, Shepard and Anderson were referenced as being "indoctrinated" by TIM. Likewise, if you happen to have the art book, they had the idea that The Illusive Man was going to transform into a creature and that would be our final boss fight. They had ultimately decided against it because they wanted us to fight a character we "already knew" so to speak. My guess is that the gameplay section they said they had trouble incorporating because of indoctrination was likely part of the indoctrination sequence with TIM that was already in the game and could have even been part of the boss fight that was scrapped.

they are not going to confirm or deny indoctrination theory because its just that..a FAN MADE THEORY. there is the story that bioware is telling, and then there is how you interpret it. bioware is totally cool with people coming up with their own interpretations and using their imaginations. but just because you think shepard was dreaming does not make it true. if you guys listen to that podcast very carefully you will understand.

chicken wings.

* No actual gameplay
* Only ten minutes long
* Doesn't actually change the Earth mission
* Will probably keep all the retarded Starchild stuff in place

...Why should I care about this?

If that's your opinion on the ending, you shouldn't. And yet you're still here.

Hmmm? I have a right to be here. And it's not merely my "opinion" that the Starchild's logic craps all over what the games have established, anyone who paid attention could tell you that.
