Genuine inquiry: Is Yarny about to become a member of the Elcor cast of Hamlet?
Enthusiastically: Yarny steals the show as Laertes. The duel is very dramatic.
@masseffect Act V scene ii, not a dry eye in the audience.

So, a few pages back some of us were discussing the new Mako and I mentioned I would have a Commander Shepard bobblehead on the dashboard of the Mako 2.0. Well, he's not exactly a bobblehead but, true to my word...
It's up to you now, Bio. Make sure there's a dashboard in the new Mako
I like to see a bobblehead of Harbinger beside Shepard. Maybe even have TIM beside Shepard. Excellent. humanity #1
We can only assume they've been indoctrinated or that they're working for Cerberus. Maybe they resurrected him again and he's escaping?
or maybe its because Casey Hudson has been working for Microsoft Xbox division for the past year or so? ![]()

*sees the old Mako in the background*
I'd much rather have that Mako than the toothless, glorified RC car that is the new one.
Don't dump all over my not-shep bobblehead pic*sees the old Mako in the background*

Also, jeez, we haven't even driven the new Mako yet.
I'm not. That pic is good and makes me want that to be the reality over what will be the reality.
Bioware has shown and talked about it though.
That thing where a sublevel becomes obsolete and needs to be stripped out of the main level and its logic. Surgery time. #space
@Sjosz Oh boy
@user Yeah. You know. *thousand yard stare*
@Sjosz I wish something like this could be devstreamed, it would be SO educational to aspiring designers
@Sjosz Maybe I could build a level for something and have someone pretend-cut part of it and stream that
@user Yeah, could be good. I think there is a broad overlap in how to approach it. The finicky thing is stripping it out of the streaming.
@Sjosz yeah it's hard to show the nuance of this sort of work in isolation
@Sjosz Performing surgery? Should I now be calling you Doctor? ![]()
Muttonchops better be a facial hair option in character creation.
Oh crap, I forgot, not only did I just surgery out a now defunct sublevel, I added a new sublevel elsewhere that needs surgerying in. Yay.
Doing work on a mission I've not touched in awhile and it's clean-up on Aisle Everywhere. Going from placeholder to real can be brutal.
or maybe its because Casey Hudson has been working for Microsoft Xbox division for the past year or so?
Game Development: Yay, 4:30. Now, after a bunch of planned and adhoc meetings, I can finally work on that thing I started. 6 hours ago.
Don't tell him because it'll just go to his head, but @manveerheir implemented something pretty sweet today.

Unravel and Mass Effect
Maybe a Yarny easter egg in Andromeda? ![]()

I hope these placeholders include the Cerberus stuff mentioned in one of the potential leaks. ![]()
The fact that level design is a difficult endeavor is ultimately a good thing because it means trying something new.
Showed some progress on one of my missions to @CCampbellArt, and I still have my job! Yay! He seemed to like it, too. #space
Practice?
But then who's who?

Sounds like Jos fancies himself as a rocket surgeon.
Sounds exciting, maybe will mean more variety in environments and levels. I feel like Inquisition had a good variety in locations, like Emprise du Lion and Crestwood. Or even Jaws of Hakkon with the swamp.
You say exciting, I say boring as hell. That's one reason why I could never make video games. I'm so-so at coming up with ideas, suck at following through with them. And that's where the real work is. The nitty gritty work is the kind'a work that it sounds like Jos is doing. "Performing surgery on a level." Ugh.
Kind'a makes me glad that I'm sitting on this side of the computer enjoying games.
I think it sounds like fun! Though I admit that my problem solving experience is more from the art side of things (Maya can really be a jerk sometimes...).
