Oh yeah, I remember reading that.
Maybe he dies and you assume his place. Because I reckon the player will look like that.
Gah. The tease is strong with this one.Jo Berry @Joanna_Berry
Really having fun with the conversation I'm working on right now.
That is all.
Maybe the guy in the N7 armor is our boss?Oh yeah, I remember reading that.

Boss, mentor, rival... maybe all those things, maybe they'll betray us and leave us for dead.

Loghain/Duncan/Anderson ? ...Maybe they'll be like Shepard working for Cerberus: Hero seemingly turned betrayer for a greater purpose, only this time we're on the outside looking in, and have to discover what that purpose is.DuncaN7.

So @TheFiddzz just presented a roadmap to me that was 25% done, 75% lol.
Perfect. Now we just need to execute!
I think instead we should execute Blair.
Finally, it's been a few years - thought I'd revisit Mass Effect. Currently on 2. So help me these fish are surviving to the Omega 4 relay!
Looks like I'll be headed back to #DragonCon again this year, and bringing @kirabutler along for the ride this time! ![]()
So we now know the guy in the E3 trailer is a Pathfinder. Hopefully soon we can see our own armor.
The player character is the Pathfinder. The armour concepts in that picture are the armour that we're going to be wearing in the game (or at least the default version that we can later customise/upgrade).
Nobody has any idea who the random N7 person on the ship is.
Sooo, about a year from now then?

Alrighty then. Good luck.

I don't think the "Pathfinder" being our protagonist has been officially confirmed tho. Seems likely, but all we have is that hoodie and the symbol seen remotely in a few places.
*on another note sense ppl were wondering*
In terms of the trailer N7 guy's armor looking like the protagonist shots from SDCC, it could just have been their early mock ups. Things could have changed over that long stretch of time, or we look similar/take their place.
DuncaN7.

That's true, but there have been two or three leaks of information that are almost certainly accurate (at least about big stuff like what the protagonist's title is).
i think there are at the end of the road with mass effect andromeda , at e3 we will see gameplay ect they will begin the marketing policy so big new every day after it . One year until the release it's the big rush time for the team . i hope we will have a finish game not like inquisition where the ending was done with dlc ( after it begin to begin the use )

Idk... until any character's name from a survey is confirmed, or there's legit visual proof, it's just a lucky guess. I wouldn't focus too much on the leaks.

Pls, no!
I think the "Normandy" reflected in the visor does very much look like an office!! :-)
Idk, with EA3/EA Play it's go big or go home usually. I'd expect more than just a trailer from them. And them Gamescom (which is confirmed) is not long after.
Khet still is not a confirmed thing. Nothing but a few (easily guessed) plot components from the original "survey leak"
have actual evidence for being true. Once one of the named characters or races is confirmed, then you're golden. But until then....
DAI picked up hevily a year prior, then was pretty much blasting like crazy 6 months prior. 3 months prior I pretty much gave up, there was too much out every single day to cover and keep up with. Tho bits of news were much more frequent and spread out than Andromeda has been.
Most likely they'll "take the feedback from the leak into account" just like before ME3 released and just make superficial changes. The Khet is probably very real but now they may call it "Ghot" or something stupid instead.

Well, the leak was intended to get feedback, it was a survey after all. It just got leak, intentionally or not.

Why does Andromeda need high stakes in the first place? They're not trying to one-up the ME Trilogy, they're starting a new story that takes place in the same universe as the other one.
If they try to 'top' the scale of the trilogy, the writing for the game is doomed from the start. Not to say that the Reapers are impressive (they're not, as far as sci-fi galaxy destroyers are concerned), but they'll have to focus so hard on it that everything else suffers and we just wind up playing ME1-3 again but with a different coat of paint.
I'm personally less interested in having as high stakes as the MET (in fact, a central focus on 'we fight or we die'/survival/etc that existed in various ways from ME1-ME3) as I am with just getting a more interesting, intriguing, and fascinating story.
AKA I want Bioware to look like it has better writers than before, and not rely on the more easy case of giant robots killing everyone. A factor of things? Sure. Mass Effect started with giant robots killing everyone and completely leaving that sort of stuff would disappoint me. But let us be more.
We can even have galaxy/local group/universal threats without it being so very 'destructive' in tone.
Michael Gamble @GambleMike
Weirdly enough, 'Outro' by M83 reminds me of Mass Effect more than any other tune. Not sure why...
hilary h shapiro @hilaryheskett
- me too. Weird.
I'm the king of my own land
Facing tempests of dust, I'll fight until the end
Creatures of my dreams raise up and dance with me!
Now and forever, I'm your king!
Huh.
