Or... they're dealing with a 2 gb DLC limit and to make it bigger they're going with a temp squad to free up memory space so they can actually put more game in. I honestly find the whole "SQUAD MUST BE THERE" attitude bizarre since as pointed out Kasumi and Lair already dealt successfully with the whole temp. squadmate concept.
Do I want every DLC to be like that? No, of course not and it looks like they're bringing the squad back for more content, so no worries honestly.
If Aria and the Turian are written well and play well then what is the problem? Sometimes I feel like people treat certain parts of this game like a security blanket.
Well, I'm with MarchWaltz on this one. And there is no guarantee that there will be another DLC after Omega. Remember what happened to DA2 "Exhalted March" -- cancelled because of poor sales of a previous DLC.
(PS: There are ways to go around the space limitations)
Nobody can predict the future, but it's worth noting that:
a) ME3's installed user base is significantly higher than DA2's, so the financial incentive for making DLC is surely greater - and the risk lower.

ME3 has kept many of those users from selling their games by providing free multiplayer expansions every few months.
c) Leviathan was the biggest selling DLC in a Mass Effect game ever, and it was released much later than the equivalent first DLC for ME2 (due to the Extended Cut pushing it back)
d) Players have identified new content for an apparent Citadel-based DLC in the files for Leviathan, similar to how Omega was identified in Leviathan (and Leviathan was identified in the Extended Cut).
I just don't get the sense that production of DLC would stop unless there was a catastrophic decline in sales for Omega - and even then, a rumoured piece of content based on the Citadel has already been in development for months.
