This all comes down to how DA:I was marketed. The over-hype created expectations that never materialized. Add the changes made in combat mechanics and the ambiguous meaning of a "PC game for PC gamers by PC gamers.." and that is how one shoots one's foot. The subsequent rise of player anger due to day 0 bugs, driver issues, patch created problems, super small fonts....I mean.. take a gander at the EA DA:I tech support forum...... Also, Bio wants to avoid a repeat of the ME3 ending fiasco and the poor DA:I reception by the PC and old gen console gamer community.
I think the Bio Studio wants to nail this correctly with a flawless launch. You can't do that by giving the marketing azzez a free pass. They will work with gusto to screw it up.
To paraphrase many, here, "it's Miller time..". I'm out on the deck with a Brewski right now.....
