I....I never played that DLC, actually. Is it a grand DLC?
I didn't mind it, the best part is getting to drive around an asteroid in the Mako while it's hurtling towards a planet. The skybox is pretty cool.

I never played DLCs for Mass Effect 1. But I've played 100% of the DLCs for every other ME and DA title. How odd.
I thought it was pretty cool, although I see others don't quite share that view
as ElitePinecone said, driving around the asteroid is an impressive visual experience, and it has a nice, typical Mass Effect ending that carries into the 3rd game in a small way. Plus, you get a nifty reward at the end. I always include it in my trilogy runs ![]()
They still sell them?
They are for free.

Oh, i forgot about the best good looking armor in the game.
Bring Down the Sky is rather good with the narrative fleshing out the Batarians and the conflicts between them and humans.
Pinnacle Station was the bad one though as it offered nothing to the story and is simply just combat time trials for a chance at some leveled gear which can be easily replaced in game depending on when you do it. You do get a home from the CO of Pinnacle Station if you beat the trials but again it doesn't really add anything and it's easy to forget due to it's location.
They are for free.
Are they on console?
Can't find full confirmation right now but some disc versions of the game (Trilogy edition/platinum Edition) BDTS was free. It still has a price tag on the XBox marketplace.

Here we go:
"Located just down the highway from EA’s Redwood Shores headquarters, Mass Effect: New Earth is set within BioWare’s bestselling science fiction video game franchise. The game studio is developing a new title, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and 3D Live co-founder and CEO Nathan Huber says this theme park attraction takes place within the realm of the last two games, bridging the gap between the original trilogy and the upcoming game."
That "within the realm of the last two games" phrase is eye catching for speculation. As Terra Nova was first visited in ME1 in the excellent Bring Down the Sky DLC, the statement could have said New Earth is a bridge between all three games and ME:A. Either there was a miscommunication or the statement is meant to convey something other than the setting. Maybe that ME:NE was developed from specific plot elements of ME2-3 and links those directly to ME:A. Could it be taking place while Shepard was awaiting trial? There does seem to be the sound of canon in there too. Answers coming May 18th.
Regardless, a separate thread is better for this sort of discussion than the twitter thread.
Welcome Ganders to the fireteam. Check out the BioWare Goose Cam here.
That moment when you've been watching the Goose cam for 30 minutes and realize that there is more action going on in the chat there then on all these forums combined
.
Even the devs are interacting! They responded to my request for Jade Empire music, though still waiting on KOTOR ![]()
THat's because even the geese can produce more content and have some news (like his newly hatched eggs) than all bioware studios togheter.
So when they have no news about the news, they put some brand new stuff online that will work as the "news" so people can keep busy until they actually have some news...i hope i made myself clear in this one ![]()

Maybe it's also time to leak some footage from it?

Beyond time!
Don't know if this was put up here so sorry if it was. (dont know how to paste it so it shows the tweet)

Should see on there a couple'a shots from Terra Nova in the background called Terra Nova which are from the BDtS DLC. And a whole buttload of shots from my time playing SR. lol
Here we go, this one's (hopefully) better.

From the looks of it, the ME:A panel is going to be (only) 8mins long. Oh well.
On another note .. VR_Mass_Effect_Andromeda_Panel? What? WHAT?
Okay I really looked at it and I see that will get an 8 minute presentation with a 2 minute and 45 second trailer. I hope it's one hell of a trailer.

yeah, because that's how companies design their internal documents. "CONFIDENTIAL!!!!111111111" printed across all pages, and in addition mention CONFIDENTIAL (!!!11) at least another 27 times on each page, just so everyone is aware that it is CONFIDENTIAL (!!11).
also, C&C 5. For Nintendo NX. C&C 5 on Nintendo NX. Don't kid yourselves.

It wouldn't surprise me. EA knows which side there bread is buttered on, and that's the SW side. So, no. It wouldn't surprise me that that's what the entirely new IP is.
'Cause Lucas sold out. Anyone got a timeline?
EDIT : Hmmm, wikipedia says that SW got bought out in 2012. Not sure if they were already working on the new IP by then. But then again, in the the trailer, Casey Hudson himself said they were working on a contemporary story. So, take that for what it's worth.
And no, I really don't think it's Mercenaries III or II what WTF ever.
I really hope that's true. It'll be a good if he's not a Shepard 2.0.
