Be grateful that you were born/you moved to a place that is somewhat close to something that means something to you.

I would guess it's real. The author is a real speculative fiction author, at least, and I see no reason why a book retailer would have a fake listing.

Sorry for the OT, but I just read about that fire in Calgary that's raging at the moment. We went through some bad wildfires here a few years ago.

Actually the fire was not in Calgary, it is in a smaller town north of both Edmonton and Calgary called 'Fort McMurray'

Yep, but the fire is moving more south towards Edmonton. Many people have lost their homes, it's so sad.

Yep, but the fire is moving more south towards Edmonton. Many people have lost their homes, it's so sad.

Still along ways from Edmonton  (I live there.)  The wind shifted last night and you can smell the smoke here though.
