Stop spoil-mongering, please. Not all of us who read this thread want to know what the Turian looks like.

(PS: I've got no problems with links, but don't embed pictures with spoilers into your posts.)

They‘re going to stream it... hmm... Why does Bioware allow such a thing 3 weeks before the release of the dlc? Why don‘t they just release it then already? I mean it makes no sense.

They're just going to stream 15 mins or so of combat.

Sure it does. AFAIK, Omega has already been finished for a while now. They still need to put it through certification with Sony and Microsoft, that's why it will not be released for a few weeks.

You obviously don't know how it works in this business :)

The cam footage is mostly non-spoilerish. Majority of it is combat oriented. But you did see some things that you could consider spoilers (especially if you haven't clicked any of the previous links).

I'll just make one comment that doesn't contain spoilers: The lighting and visual effects are fantastic!

Looking good.

I'm... yet to be convinced that it's worth paying 1200 MSP for though, Omega would have to have something pretty special - or a lot of content - for me to pay that much. Paying for another couple of hours of combat with some cutscenes interspersed isn't that appealing.

1200 MSP??? That is too much to pay for a straight combat dlc, especially if it doesn't have any real impact on the end.

No, not really. I'm not too big on games, though I own a few good ones (including the ME trilogy), but I get that they have to put it through QA and certification.

What I don't understand is why they stream it (certainly with Bioware's permition). I mean, why do they spoil the whole thing 3 weeks before the actual release? They could release a trailer instead, if they want to hype people up for it.

Because just like the streams and press-releases shown, just like the "hands on looks" that interviewers and previewers play, it is designed to be spoiler free. It's stuff cherry picked to be non-spoiler, and I will assume the Gamespot one will be exactly the same.

A shame it's been confirmed Omega won't be a hub after you're done with it.

At least we do get a small hub area within the DLC.
But still....

Hm, so I guess this means I won't be buying Omega when it comes out at the end of November. It's a pity, but I kind of expected it. Hopefully future DLC (after Omega) will be to my taste, so to speak.

Well, now that the massive hating and death threats are gone, yeah. Why not? He should be able to celebrate. One little screw up doesn't take away the fact they've put in years of work into a fantastic franchise.

Agree, on both counts, but like you say, it was more or less expected. (It's strange to think Omega will be joining the likes of the Genesis comic, which is the only other piece of BioWare DLC that I never bought.)

No squad, no hub, and no reason to be helping out this criminal in the middle of galactic extinction? No, thanks.

I'll be checking in for future DLC, but I won't be picking this one up.
