Also, we announced there will be a new enemy unit, the Rampart Mech, which I was super fortunate to work on the AI for & am really proud of

"and applied it to this new enemy. Can I get a general height on it? Big as a dog? Up to your chest? Humanoid?"
"Think about the size of the LOKI Mech from ME2"
twitter.com/manveerheir/status/266232558050762752
"I bet a good headshot will still take them down, though"
"They aren't LOKIs or act like LOKIs. You'll see. Patience :)"
twitter.com/tropetweeter/status/266305229081964545
"I saw the livestream, and while they may look like LOKIs with Tech Armor, you were right about them not acting like LOKIs".
"Haha yeah think of them as being fully reprogrammed and souped up with armor plating. There's a reason they're called Ramparts"

Secondly, I don't think the ideas that'll be stirring in the BSN's mind about a new Mass Effect game would fit into twitters 140 character limit

Agree, on both counts, but like you say, it was more or less expected. (It's strange to think Omega will be joining the likes of the Genesis comic, which is the only other piece of BioWare DLC that I never bought.)Snypy wrote...
Hm, so I guess this means I won't be buying Omega when it comes out at the end of November. It's a pity, but I kind of expected it. Hopefully future DLC (after Omega) will be to my taste, so to speak.
No squad, no hub, and no reason to be helping out this criminal in the middle of galactic extinction? No, thanks.
I'll be checking in for future DLC, but I won't be picking this one up.
Yes, Omega will be the first story DLC in the ME trilogy I won't play. I think that not buying it is the only way to send BioWare a message since neither devs nor producers read this forum. So much for "we listen to our fans." Though I must say I like the DA:I forum because the writers and developers actually engage in discussions with fans.

While Paragon and Renegade worked real well for a sincere Shephard, I'd like the neutral stance to come back with a DA2 sarcastic flavor and sarcastic interupts would be hilllllarious!!!111:D

- No Children & no Starchild like characters, Bioware got the opposite reaction to those than they expected!
- No Autodialogue (or minimal like ME2)
- Freedom to do 90% of the missions in any order (i.e. mostly open like ME1&2, unlike the linear ME3)
- Real Bossfights at the end, not just dialogue

Last I checked, Casey Hudson has never admitted that there would be something wrong with the (original) ending of ME3. On the contrary, he defended his work with the "artistic integrity" excuse.

True but you can't look inside his head. No way that all the insults and threats didn't had an impact on him and his opinion about the ending.

Him not saying any word will not help anybody. Him saying the wrong words neither.
Sofar we haven't heard anything that would hint at the fact that he understood what made many people mad or disappointed in the first place.
And how can ME4 avoid the same mistakes if the key people don't understand?
We'll see I guess.
