Something else that was in EA's financial presentation yesterday - they mentioned that MEA would come out in "late" Q4 2017, which in calendar terms works out to be February or March.

No.  Financial years are numbered for the year they finish, not when they start.

Yeah, EA's financial year is totally out of alignment with the actual calendar. 

 

Yesterday's financial report (Q4 2016) actually covered the first three months of calendar 2016. If MEA is coming out "late" Q4 2017 (refer to the image BioFan posted above), that probably means late Feb or March.

Replying on the twitter thread for 'reminding' Bioware isn't really an effective way of reminding them though. It's highly likely most devs never read the forums. Replying to the dev's own twitter is more likely to get your attention (not that it's a surely thing, but still more effective then this).
