There are some things to attend to before dealing with the Alenko thing, he has already become to relevant to the story and needs to be taught to stay irrelevant.

1) Change the name of the CIC to the COC, Combat Operations Center.2) Take a tour of the Normandy.
3) Look for your model ships.
4) Look for SPACE HAMSTER.
5) Contact Hackett to go over the plan... again and disconnect before he finishes.
6) Talk to Joker.
7) Go "inspect" Dr. EVA's body.
8) Replace Traynor with the eye patch guy because well... EYE PATCH!
9)Send Traynor to take Liara's place as the information broker person. I'm sure you can find a better use for Liara... of course I mean your maid since she can't keep herself out of your cabin.
10) Stand in the Med- bay to see if Alenko is faking it to gain relevance.
11) I suppose the plot won't unfold itself so... go to the Citadel? BUT make it clear that it's not because of Alenko.

(Did I miss anything to waste time? Please feel free to add more)

EDIT: Spin the Normandy and the your mom jokes mentioned above.
EDIT AGAIN: Hell DO EVERYTHING listed above!

Umm. That would be funny. But it would be funnier if in three missions time, Shepard puts even more points in one liners and then goes to flirt with Traynor.

The guy with the eyepatch is actually an allusion to The Old Republic Paint Adventures (also done by Lankist) and was the main character. John "Mynock" Konteego I think the name was.

I bet Lankist is reading the questions and crying salty hot tears of unappreciation. You monsters.

As far as I know the whole thing disappeared with the TOR website's forum wipe in preparation for the game's release (a shame too). A follow-up was started but didn't get very far before the focus changed to ME3.
