glad i am not the only one who gets this issue... bioware really are not to bothered about helping since the last patch fixed game bugs and not the issues regarding memory leaks and such... really sad to see a company such as bioware treat its "loyal" customers like this!!! :(

WOW.  You really have no idea how it works, do you?  A patch not fixing a known leak isn't due to it not being worked on.  It just means, as is the case with 99.9% of memory leaks in a released product, that it's DAMN hard to find, as well as to fix  - and unfortunately, there's not really anyway to go about speeding it up.  So, really, you and your victim mentality should quiet down, and just come up with the relevant stats:  Specific hardware, resolution, settings, specific locations where it happens, etc.

For example, I have this issue at Ostagar on a new Human Noble Female Dual Weapon Warrior, specifically at that intersection between the War Counsil, the dais where you meet Alastair/the Joining occurs, and the rest of the camp.  I had figured there were a lot of event triggers in the area, which could contribute.

I just started a new game with patch 1.02, as a human noble. The final big battle in the dining room (includes 1 mage and many archers/knights) before you fight your first yellow mob and find the PC's father, chugged at 6 fps. I've done this origin many times, and never had the game slow down until now.

Something has definitely changed because of the patch.

Does patch 1.02 causes slow downs? I installed the patch and I don't experience any slow downs whatsoever...
