Multiplayer brings in the money so that's where the focus is. Remember when they assured us the multiplayer wouldn't affect the singleplayer at all? Yeah right.

When they said that I was like, okay cool. I wont have to play it. But with the whole EMS debacle after the release of ME3 I was just like *sigh*

I do enjoy MP but I shouldnt have to play it to get the *best ending. They better keep it away from Dragon Age or I will seriously give up on Bioware.

my excitement for the EC just went from 10 to 2 after reading that. the description makes the EC out to be some nice little easter egg or something. God damnit.

Yup, sounds about right, the turd's been getting polished.

No one could swallow their pride and admit that the turd needed to be replaced.

Good thing I've more or less completely moved on.

It's not that bad waiting for the inevitable, when you have virtually zero expectations.

Oh get over yourself, there are many people who find the multi-player a great addition to the game. Jesus Christ, gaming doesn't revolve around the folks who just love single-player but actively detest anything to do with multi-player.

I agree with you, the dlc is hated before it's out. This means that the EC won't end up well no matter how hard they try, personally, it's a shame that this happens.

I know I was more dismissive of the EC when it was first announced, I figured it would be 2min cinematic or two with a text-based epilogue add-on that just added some explanation.   Something like a cinematic version of the Epilogue slides in my signature.   Don't get me wrong, I love that epilogue and it's why its in my sig.  I just thought that was all the EC was going to do. 

Now we know many --maybe all-- of the LI and other major characters went back in for more voice work.  Whatever does happen will be voiced.  Plus the time they are taking, based off of ME2's DLC the EC could be about as big as LotSB.   ***For those that haven't played LotSB, it added many minutes of cinematics, an air-car flight/chase mission, and two (three depending how you count) major new combat maps.  One an area on Illum and both exterior and interior maps of the Shadow Broker ship.  The SB ship's exterior was very awesome.   

Thus the EC *could* include:  
--We will get a (few?) new combat missions on Earth using the new Earth MP maps. 
 --Scenes of our acquired Assets  
--Plus many new cinemantics and conversations.   

I'm hoping for a good semi-open-ended Epilogue that includes a:  LI reunion / Shepard funeral,  rescue of the Normandy crash survivors, a glimpse or two of the post war galaxy rebuilding.   Enough to setup more positive speculation.

It's a rumor, don't read too much into it.  could be totally false, or more likely, a few nuggets of truth wrapped around a bunch of assumptions that are wrong.

6 extra humans? Don't we have enough humans to play around with? Although the possibility of MP maps on Earth is exciting.
I am not going to take it seriously, not unless actual evidence is given.
