Grenade Capacity Gear (What Were You Thinking?)

Currently, you can have a ton of grenades to spam all at once with grenade capacity boosts and ammo packs. I think this is a little much. The issue with grenades was never what we could hold, but rather how well we could keep them stocked.
So instead of grenade spamming insanity, how about the grenade gear fabricates us grenades periodically? This would keep us stocked and prevent raining 11 grenades on the enemy. It seems like a fair tradeoff to me.
As for the actual times between granting us grenades, I'm not offering a suggestion on that just to have half of BSN bite my head off.

Keyword being 'can.' My only grenade capacity upgrade is Warfighter I, which grants me a total of one extra grenade. The dudes who post YouTube Gold speedruns may have an insane amount of grenades to spam, but the vast majority don't and won't for some time. I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

It would be cool for the gear to stock grenades to us though. Seems like a lot more people would use it and would tone down ammo box competition.

Once you use them, you can't keep them fully stocked on silver / gold without ammo packs (which should be for emergencies, not spamming unholy hellfire), which makes the intention of curbing grenade supply obsolete.

R4 spawn 1 grenade every 20 seconds
R5 +1 grenade
Changes the numbers to 60 seconds and 40 seconds for the Warfighter gear. Done.

If it will refill grenades, it will be even more "OP" than now actually, so nothing wrong here.

I disagree that they should be just for emergencies. Before the patch and the new gear came along all you ever heard about ammo packs on this board was how useless they were and how many everyone had sitting around, so I think it's good that there's now a clear incentive to use them.

I'm unsure of your intented meaning here. I think spawning grenades periodically is less OP than being able to drop 55 grenades in a row.
It would make grenades function like a queued cooldown power that can stack up 2-3 times before use.

I'd be on board with that.
It would make it more fun to play a grenade using class with randoms who are also using grenade classes without the objective turning into "rush the ammo box." It would also level out the maps a bit, as smaller maps with more ammo boxes favor grenade chuckers a lot more than more spread out maps where you take more time to resupply.

1) Have grenades refill like ammo at the end of each wave
2) Have grenades restock at each ammo box at the current rate of non-bugged maps but only grant one grenade per player each time. However, all players would be able to get one grenade from a box regardless of whether another player just got one.
This would take randomness out of the equation (yay, tactical gameplay!) and make grenade stocking a little bit less of an annoyance (especially since they've made the decision to shorten the interwave time to under 5 seconds).
