I'm trying to see what's wrong about that, but I just can't.

Finally Bioware solved two problems: A way to deal with poor grenade spawns and a use for ammo packs!

The char I can score the highest on is asari vanguard specced for grenades and using reegar :D. My highest scores are now 190k and 207k, but that last score the fourth player left half way through.

This guy must really hate the new DLC, cause there is a crap TON of stuff in this game thats needed worked on since release but he has been having a field day with Rebellion for some reason.

How many grenades gives to you this upgrade? (I don't have it)
I mean... If you can carry 8, well, that's a too much.  For me, 6 grenades is the optimal amount without going out of hand.

i never really liked the classes with nades before the gear gave you more. with the limited amount you get for the skill points needed to maximize it...and the randomness of refills during a match...it just wasnt worth it. NOW....I HAVE A BLAST.

It really annoys me when i see threads here on BSN talking about "I DONT LIKE IT, THEREFORE EVERYONE DOESNT LIKE IT, SO IT NEEDS TO BE NERFED" or "I THINK THIS IS OP, NERF IT", or "THIS SUCKS, IT should be buffed, THEN NERFED".

Still, nobody seems to be understanding. This would not be a nerf at all. It would end up making it so you can use MORE grenades over the course of a match but not all at once.

100% agree, I used to hate grenade characters, but now they are fun.

Not everyone has the best grenade gear upgrade.
Not everyone has infinite ammo reloads.

If you do not have those things then your grenade person is very limited.

While this is true, I'm unsure of what your opinion is on my idea. What you said doesn't seem to establish a liking or disliking.

Even with the gear upgrade, the system seems wrong to me.

bioware was thinking lets make the game more interesting by adding more things to unlock. its not like anyone is being forced to use new equipment. wasn't a fan of nades before. i am now.

Someone likes grenades, so let's start another 10 page thread about taking away other's fun.

Just set up the nerf request like it's something that would make the game better rather than the truth that the OP is just mad about not being able to get all the kills.

I say again, if you would actually read what I said, it isn't even a nerf suggestion.

More grenades overall, less ability to spam them all at once. REAAAAAAAD!

It's a tough decision. On one hand, having a giant capacity actually makes Ammo Packs very useful items, instead of minor conveniences that have a relatively low utility. But, being able to throw 8 AGs into a group while benefiting from the cloak bonus (with a MQI) is just too powerful.

I agree with you, I think. The massive capacity is a bit of a problem, certainly. Perhaps the Grenade Capacity Mod should be changed to:
Level I: Restock 1 Grenade at the start of a round
Level II: Restock 1 Grenade at the start of a round/+1 Grenade Capacity
Level III: Restock 1 Grenade at the start of a round/+2 Grenade Capacity
Level IV: Restock 2 Grenades at the start of a round/ +2 Grenade Capacity
Level V: Restock 2 Grenades at the start of a round/ +3 Grenade Capacity

EDIT:  Grenades need to restock much more quickly as well.  If you run out of grenades during a round, you're out of luck, basically.

I used to hate BioWare flamers, but having sort of become one, I kind of only dislike them:
Grenade capacity boost without tweak to the replenishment system is an epic fail. Almost as pitiful as some other stuff in the game.

Or perhaps this is the PvP element people have been crying out for: two grenadiers trying to beat each other to the ammo crate, perhaps one of them will luck out and find one thats working and at least get a few back. The other one is screwed.

WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS? finally unlocked nade capacity gear today and you already want to take it away? NO! and seriously, how many games have you joined that have been ruined by someone using a level 5 nade capacity? 0 for me... and considering its a team based game, why would it matter if someone did it and won you the victory anyway?

What is the point of less spammability?  More kills for you?  I finally stopped apologizing for the amount of grenades I toss in a game.  Sometimes I just dog it to look like someone's idea of a 'team player' when really I want to have the grenades kill better and wider than they do now.

See, if the target gets killed faster, we get more credits and the spawning slows down.  If the circle is surrounded, grenades are free while rockets cost credits.  WONDERFUL reasons to spam so much my real arm hurts.  

What are your reasons to disallow that?...

How?  If you had 2 grenades restocked at the start of a round, you'd be able to throw at least 2 grenades per round, which is pretty reasonable.  Since your overall capacity is lower, you can't defeat large groups of powerful enemies as easily.  You'll have less grenades available to throw at any given time, while still allowing them to be useful by giving the player some at the start of a round.

As far as grenades restocking quicker goes, it would require a player to stay in a certain area for a while to get a full capacity still.  This way, you'll be able to run around the map getting grenades, while never having enough at a time to do a TON of damage.  Even if you were to camp out at an ammo box, you'd be stuck in a single place, which makes you sitting bait for Phantoms/Banshees/Hunters.
